Same case with my friend also but no need to worry, they just put this date for their reference. If you want to stay until 30 days, you can. Exit stamp is important for clean travel history. Moreover try to exit country as per your travel plan for no hassle, someone want to stay 2 weeks or 3 weeks buy return ticket accordingly that looks more genuine then changing your plan after entering country.

They’re specifically doing it for Indian citizens. Last month entered Malaysia with my friend, who is from Singapore. We both have the return ticket after 9 days back to Singapore. The immigration officer wrote the RT date on my passport but didn’t write anything on his passport. I asked the immigration why so, he just asked me to leave the counter in a rude way.
Same happened with us also when we travelled in April 1st week this year… our stay on Malaysia was 4 nights and same way officer wrote return date below visa stamp

That's unfortunate. I visited Malaysia two times since December 2023 and I must say that I had very good experience at immigration. Probably, one of the fastest immigration experience for me after Thailand. I probably cleared within 2-3 minutes in both the occasions. I think it depends on various factors like immigration officer at duty, visitor's traveling history, timing, situation etc. Maybe luck also plays important role sometimes :). Anyway, thank you for sharing the incident.

They also did same for me when i visited Malaysia last year and they asked return ticket and he put this date on my stamp as return date of flight.
They do this so that people return by the return date.
If you may extend ur stay then u might have genuine reason to show them while exiting then they might not create issues.

This happened with my husband too this year. They mentioned the return date below the stamp. We found it strange but were okay as we anyway intended to return on the said date

I’ll be travelling on 12th September from Phuket to Kolkata via transiting Kuala Lumpur airport. Is there any pre-requisite criteria?
Even if you need to clear the immigration at KL it is visa-free for Indians. But if you have single PNR flight you will clear the immigration in Phuket only
Do you think Vietnam and indonesia will do visa free? Any news you are hearing?

This is quite common. I have 2 such stamps. And both handwritten dates are per my return ticket or next country ticket.

Maine to yeh bhi suna hai ki Malaysia me alag alag region me jaate ho jo Island hai ,jaise ki sabah region ,waha pe fir se entry stamps lagaate hai passport pe..kya yeh sach hai.?

hi my husband s passport india got stamped with IM.96( c)B/B6 as they went to malysia on 8/10/2024 and it was a groyp of 6 people which was arranged by a travel agent and one of them was not able to answer properly that how many days he is staying there
and they asked who is coordinator and then they got bit confused but another replied that they are here for 3 days
and they just kept them in a room and said they are deporting them
Immigration did not ask then individually and thus all got deported.
so my question is after how long they xan visit that country again.
or is there will beany other issue if i apply for my husband visa for australia as i am residing in australia now

Reentry to Malaysia: An "IM.96" stamp typically indicates that entry was denied, but it doesn't automatically mean a permanent ban. The specifics around reentry often depend on the exact circumstances, but generally, people can try to reenter after a certain period (usually 6 to 12 months). However, the immigration authorities have discretion over whether to permit reentry. It might be wise for your husband to wait a few months before attempting to return and ensure that his purpose and travel details are clear next time. Also, please check the passport stamp if that specifies if the entry is banned until specific date.
Australian Visa Application: A deportation stamp from Malaysia generally shouldn’t impact an application for an Australian visa, as they review applications individually based on specific criteria. However, Australia is primarily concerned with criminal records, security concerns, and any immigration violations within Australia rather than issues in other countries.
There's absolutely no confusion here. The immigration officer is well within his rights to make a remark that is based on facts. Asking for a return/onward ticket is the officer's job. He can't change the wording of the stamp but he has allowed the person to stay up to the 25th only. Hope the traveller understands this.
eVisa k time par bhi aisa hi hota tha..return ticket k hisab se hi date stamp karte the. Maine 30 days ka stay aur return ticket dikhaya tha tab unhone ek senior immigration officer k pass mujhe bheja tha..mera business visit tha toh unhone allow kar diya aur 30 days ka date daala.
Anyway, immigration office mein jakar extend bhi karwa sakte hain beyond 30 days if you have genuine reason and hotel/return ticket.
can you exit malaysia by land to singapore or do you strictly need a return ticket back to india under the visa exemption/mdac?
You can book a onward journey to any country, but they do verify your return/onward journey ticket

@@shubham601avoid land border or sea ferry entry into singapore, i was held and interviewed for 1 hour + they’ll insist you to carry physical cash for the number of days you’re in singapore and will allow entry if you are exiting by air only

agar 30 days ka stay hai to aap bol dena unko ki main stay karne ka plan extend kia tha aur soocha ki 30 days tak reh sakta hoon. Rest it is upto the immigration officer

normal docuemnts will work in this case, so keep all your documents in check. To avoid any hassle at the time of immigration, additionally, she can get letter of authorisation from the parents to travel including her travel expenses covered parents and also the proof of someone residing in Malaysia. If no one knows her in Malaysia then she can book hotels

Yes you can exit airport, malaysia is visafree for indians you can either exit airport or you can stay in transit area for 17 hrs it’s up to you
agar travel karna hai to immigration clear karna parega but 15 ganthe hai to ghom sakete ho koi issue nahi

Not very rare in case of Malaysia immigration since I had the exact same experience back in January that means had handwritten date mentioned as per my return ticket. Malaysia in the past had many visa frauds which ultimately led to stopping Visa on Arrival altogether for Indian passports. Now that they resumed it, they’re bit too cautious.
Yes same happened with me last year in Jan they hand written my retun date after they asked me return ticket.

Vietnam bhi aisa hi kar rha hai 5 din hi allow kar rha hai . Gar aapne ticket 5 din ki li hai to . Or koi baat nahi sunte .

मेरे पास भी इसी तरह की इमिग्रेशन स्टांप है। मैने 21 जनवरी 2024 को मलेशिया एंटर किया था और ऑनवर्ड ट्रेवल डेट 24 जनवरी 2024 का था वही उन्होने मेरे पासपोर्ट पर लिख दिया था
