    90 hrs Chairman salary 51 cr p.a./ 4.25 cr p.m / 14.16 lacs per day/ 59k per hr….whereas 90 hr of a avg associate 3.5 lacs p.a/ 29 k p.m / 972 rs pr day / 40.5 rs hr…what a balance 😅

    What a wise man. High quality talent is in shortage. I think going forward only the companies with right work culture will be able to attract such talent. Saying the wrong thing in public will have consequences, especially when it is coming from the top management.

    They dare not ask shopfloor workers to work more than what is signed with the unions. Bajaj Auto has to pay overtime, which is 2X-3X more than the normal pay. Because of pathetic Indian labor laws , white collar corporate employees are not employees but SLAVES! Why should an employee work more than what is stipulated in contract when the company will not provide any stock options?

    I am for 30 working hours a week instead. All organizations implicitly or explicitly pressurise their employees in one way or the other, taking the joy out of working. The DGCA rules notwithsanding pilots and crew are forced to work more hours as well. - NOT GOOD! - IT IS FOOLISH.
    Everybody knows - Parkinson's Law - and also that work gets done better when you don't pretend to be working.
    If organizations worked 10-4 (which with commuting included would work out to a minimum of 8 hours a day anyway) all the time would remain focussed on "effectiveness" - DOING rather than TALKING

    Instead working 12 hour per day, make 2 shifts of 6 hour each, this will not only give more employment but also rise the productivity of company.
    But due to government support they will just squeez out each and all your life and pay you less.

    Ofcourse, we all should work on Sundays, including Banking Sector (PSU + PRIVATE), HOSPITALS (GOVT + PRIVATE), SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, JUDICIARY, RAILWAYS AND ALSO STATE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES INCLUDING OUR MUNICIPALITIES, STATE AND CENTRAL IAS AND IPS OFFICERS. Then only the environment will be suitable for 100 hour work week for private sector employees.

    45-50 hrs a week seems good.. there are countries which is making 4 days a week.. Its better to focus on productivity rather than exploiting the people who are already working hard, and paying taxes but hardly getting any support from either businesses or govt..If business wants their employees to work long or very long hrs, there should be a pay for addl hrs over 50 hrs which is normal.. We already have a huge gap between top 1% and rest, people should not be exploited. I expect Labour ministry to please share their guidelines, otherwise its just matter of time business would start expecting very long hrs from their employees.. It would create a massive problem mentally, socially.

    So happy to move abroad working as a normal human. I used to work 7days 12hours and getting pennies in construction. L&T chief and ppl like them needs therapy.
    To make India first, educate ppl first. 30% ppl working 90hours and remaining struggling to get work is shit mindset .

Managers, directors and above caders going to attend meetings even its for one whole day they will not get exhausted, the operations team is one who has all the stress, let the above cadre work for more than 90 hours, dont go for extravagant vacations, perks for air travel, luxury cars, 5 star hotel stays etc.

    I work in Siemens which is a German company. No body force me to work for certain specific hours or do overtime. Company excepts output from me within a timeline which is "realistic". Time management is my responsibility. I can plan my work myself to maintain my work life balance.
