    The main components of PLCC system are
    1) WT - Wave Trap
    2) CVT or CC - Capacitive Voltage Transformer or Coupling Capacitor
    3) LMU - Line Matching Unit
    4) PLCC Panel

    Information signal like audio signals are further converted into high frequency signals by doing modulation with high frequency carrier signal inside the PLCC panel, the panel also consist transmitter who send this signal to CVT through a coxial cable, The work of CVT is to inject this modulated signal in to the transmission line at one end of transmission line at substation. The another CVT being installed at next end of this transmission line at next substation will eject this information signals and send to another PLCC panel at this substation which demodulate this signal and produce information.
