i wasn’t in band but i was in choir, color guard, and theater (although i only did theater my last year of high school)! i played serena in the legally blonde musical, it was sooo much fun. i also did color guard with my college’s marching band and we got to perform at the macy’s thanksgiving day parade last year!! it was so cool but i was freezing the whole time lol
@@whispersinwonderland204color guard is kind of like dancing but with big flags that we toss and stuff like that!! we usually perform with the marching band during halftime at football games
@@whispersinwonderland204and the macy’s parade was so cool!!! i got to see all of the floats up close and all the people lined up on the street cheered for us as we walked past it was really fun :))
When I was 9-11 years old, I did a lot of choir stuff and was often given solos by my teachers. Now I don't sing as much, I do mostly theatre. About a year and a month ago, I got to perform on the west-end (A theatre district in central London). Loads of professional actors do shows there and it was so fun! I was also lucky enough to get a main part 😊
@whispersinwonderland204 My fave was the one I did on the West-end. It was called "Across the line". It was the biggest theatre I'd ever performed in and it felt so rewarding to do it ❤️
I wasn't in band but i was in show choir so like kinda a mix of theatre and choir lol. I've been serious about choir since the 3rd grade, when i moved stated in middle school they had no 'normal' choir they just had show choir. It was such a fun experience, although i am haunted by Christmas songs. Remembering the choreo to all i want for christmas while im shopping is terifying. I wish I could have done more with my future of singing and choir. I used to watch the holiday parades when we used cable but now ill just watch a upload of it on youtube lol
Omg ngl reading about how you’re terrified of the christmas shows now it’s lowkey so funny to me :’) but also why not look into it now?? What if there are groups like that/choir for adults?!? That could be super fun!!
@@whispersinwonderland204 I did! I was cast with a bunch of friends. We were seniors. Best was, my family didn't know I had a solo & could actually sing 🎵
@@whispersinwonderland204 they were surprised and shocked❤ my dad said 'we didn't know you could REALLY sing 😂' it was a fun time. Thank you for chatting with me, Ona❤
I did theater too! Lol I think when people say they know you were a theater kid it means they see you as outgoing. Ya know? Also yes evil people are way more fun to play cause you can be more crazy! So if you are psychotic so am I. The thanksgiving parade is iconic! We watched it with the little guy this year and he lost his mind when he saw Santa!
Ahhhh okay well that makes more sense! Also i swear santa is the best one out of all the other things in the parade (i guess that’s probably cause i love Christmas so much more ) 😅
I was in band in 6th grade. I played the clarinet. Although I wanted to play the flute but the band teacher told me that my mouth wasn’t “fit” for a flute. I quite band after that year because that teacher was a creepo.

Who in the world says that?!?! Do you think you’ll ever try to learn the flute now?
I actually started flute lessons with my cousin a few years back. She was way better teacher lol
Nice!!! Do you like it?!
It’s enjoyable but i prefer the clarinet..
Ahhh gotcha!!
