College Life In Japan haha thank you ! Yes I use a computer . To get a cool strings sound, first you need a good strings bank, personally I use the NI symphonic strings , you need to split your strings in sections (don’t use an ensemble patch) like 1st violins, 2nd violins, violas, cellos, basses (you can also split sections in 2 , for exemple : 1st violins 1, 1st violins 2, cellos 1, cellos 2) On NI strings, you have a parameter called « auto divisi » really powerful to get a realistic sound, it split your player if you play more than 1 note (for exemple , you have 14 1st violins, with auto divisi , when you play 2 notes in the same time, it split your player , 7 on the first note, 7 on the second). And last thing really important , use the MIDI CC 1, (also called the mod wheel, modulation wheel) It change the dynamic of your strings, you need to write a automation with that to create realism in your strings. I hope I’m clear and that can help you, thank for listening and see you!!! :)
Brian Delgado Composer thank you for the in-depth answer! Sadly I use logic right now cause I don’t have that much money to get FL or else I would 😅. But I was wondering if you could head over to my music channel and listen to my latest song? It’s an orchestral piece made from logic my UA-cam channel is Polar Baier. I would LOVE feed back from peeps who make similar stuff cause I love making this type of music! Although no worries if you don’t wanna! But honestly keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot for this cover. Lovely. Very well done. Loved the original, like everything from Bergersen.
