Instead of participating in the bs fundraisers I give them cash because the school only gets 30% of the total they raise at best. I also start the year letting the teacher know I don't need daily check-ins and if my kid fucks up and they need my help I believe them before my kids. Sad thing is it's not a finding problem, it's an administration problem. The principals are making bank. The district admins are making millions. Then they pay their teachers like a high school level summer job. School choice and voucher system ASAP. In my county in Minnesota (Hennepin) has never met a school funding reform they didn't like. They constantly raise my taxes for The kids and the teachers are still not paid but my district admin is making high seven figures.
The screaming kid part, probably colic. They scream 3+ hours a day because of that. Its pretty common and nothing you do as a parent helps. We had that, thankfully no neighbours had to listen to it

I've worked warehouse jobs, car tire change, industrial bed creation, moving firms, industrial laundry, grocery cashier, clerk for car toll ring, dev / web, sound design etc. Streaming is a luxury.
