🧐 Appropriate song choices based a on students development, goals, age and interests is a key element in building their technique and confidence. It's a major goal of mine as a teacher to add that addition layer in their foundation. But sometimes, I miss the mark on what they actually want to sing. That's ok; there is SO much music out there to be explored.
