As the hidden rules may change every year so it would be nice to hear directly from them. Or you could ask your department head too. My friend was told to get IELTS even after acceptance from their professor. So it could be one of their unsaid rules!

@@insha6492 see there are two tracks! University track or Embassy track if you want to apply for GKS. If you choose the University track then submit the GKS application directly to the University within the University deadline (each university has their own deadline, check their website). And if you are applying via Embassy track, submit the application to the Embassy in your country within the Embassy deadline (check their website).
