As opposed to a filmmaker or actual content producer who is making something substantial and who would never want corporate interests to mess with the value of the work they set out to do/publish. Where Matt and many others fall on the spectrum in between is interesting, UA-cam's definitely a grey area.

I watched one of her videos after this just to see what they're like and oh my god?? she literally
- talks about going straight from Paris to New York
- has two cups of iced coffee in one day
- talks in-depth about her needing to poop for some reason
- goes to a restaurant and has a green salad AND another cup of coffee
- sits in her hotel bed wrapped in a blanket for awhile
- eats in the hotel from a silver platter with a cover
I can't tell if I accidentally found the exact video Matt was trying to emulate, or if she really is just like that
anyways her video was very mildly amusing and I won't be watching her again :P

Since your “Basically a Tom Scott Video” was spot on in delivery while still joking tastefully about his style I don’t feel like I ever need to see an Emma Chamberlain video. This is a fantastic series (if you want to do more). I’m excited to see these in many other styles.

As someone who watched Emma this is quit accurate. I was surprised when he mentioned the hard boiled eggs, two coffees, almond milk and berry’s. She orders the same food at hotels.

I’ve been watching Emma’s videos for years now but I always feel like I have a love/hate relationship with her, and this video perfectly showed me why. She tries so hard to push this girl next door relatable image, but she’s far from it. I bet not even 10% of her viewers could afford the lifestyle that she has
think even when she just started out, she was from a wealthy family. It’s just living vicariously through her for what we imagine for ourselves, but it’s pretty fake
