that is from the movie. Funny thing was that everyone on the set was not expecting for michael to use the tommy gun, and when he found out that some were scared from the surprise factor, he gave everyone water guns as a way of saying "my bad".
I never watch the movie at all, but I adore the arcade game. Its such a fun and satisfying concept to play as an artist with a wild fantasy of the artist himself!
Having the chance to play this beautiful piece of game, I can say that the themes in this arcade version are a masterpiece, better than the Sega version although they have made a good attempt I mean the sega version
Sega arcade games of this era used a Zilog Z80 CPU as the sound processor, which is 8 bit, but that only tells how much data is moving at any given instant in time.
@solidus1337 This differentiation between "8 Bit" and "16 Bit" music is completely bogus. An Amiga is a 16 Bit system, but it plays 8 Bit samples. All Yamaha FM chips have an 8 Bit CPU interface, but they generate a 12 Bit audio output. It's much more meaningful to talk about the synthesis techniques used to create the sound. The Sega System 18 Board for Moonwalker uses FM synthesis for the main instruments and ADPCM for voices and drums. It's a sound system one would expect for late 80s.
Sing along everyone! Billie Jean is not my lover! She's just a girl who Says that I am the one! But... THE KID IS NOT MY SON! WOO! She says I am the one! But... THE KID IS NOT MY SON! No, no, hee hee hee!
Actually to me it's unclear if this music has to be classified as "8-bit" or "16-bit". The Sega System 18, the arcade platform that was used to run this game, has a main CPU that is 16-bit. The sound CPU however was a Z80, which is 8-bit. 8-bit has become a bit of a buzzword nowadays, but what I wanna say is that people should be careful with just marking music as "8-bit" or "16-bit". It doesn't make much sense. Just enjoy the music, because it truly is amazing stuff. :-)
It's very very long game i got tired tapping shoot power joystick i finally won 2 Michael Jackson games one is MOONWALKER SEGA AND OTHER IS MJ MOONWALKER ARCADE

@@xavtendo8522the image for the poster.
Michael designed the game, and approved the music
Sound is cool 😎😎😎
makes sense, as the goal of the game is to rescure children ;)
@@OilFreak pretty sure that's because he didn't have a childhood of his own lol

Yup, that good ol' YM2151 in the System18 board. Pain to program sounds for FM, but I've heard just how amazing it sounds in the right hands.
@NightSprinter . In a fm synthesis algorithm, the carriers are always on the bottom, and the modulators are always on top of a carrier.
Best 3 minutes of my life
BILLIE JEAN IS NOT MY LOVER. SHE'S JUST A GIRL WHO SAYS THAT I AM THE ONE, BUT THE KID IS NOT MY SON.
🎼🎵🎶🎤
And mother always told me, “Be careful who you love. Be careful what you do, because the lie becomes the truth.”
Personally this game has a more sad ending than the movie since in the arcade the 3 three kids aren’t here so Michael Is alone
Sing along everyone!
