I would recommend watching defyn. By skipping the "natural" grind, you seem to be missing a lot of core dogfighting mechanics/experience that would be learnt with props and gun jets. Playing bad vehicles also teaches a lot, too.
Couple of tips the Phantom does not have ARH missiles so you have to keep a lock on the plane you want to kill for the missile to hit them. If you want to turn faster you should cut your throttle and put on the air brake to lose some speed this will allow you to turn easier. You can also set a bomb series which will allow you to drop all your bombs with one press of the spacebar. Finally instead of using the visual weapon selector you can use a button to go between your weapons I use my mouse wheel. There’s a lot more but this is only one comment, hope this helps.
Also I’d like to add that what I assume are F-14’s firing the “Fox” missiles are not distracted by flares and are only thrown off their lock by multi-pathing, notching, and chaffing. Also if you want a good very good top tier plane in America I would definitely suggest the F-15E on the right side of the tech tree it’s a lot of fun to play. The F-14B, the line you’re researching in this video, is pretty obsolete nowadays.
Cheers from Brazil, Nice video!
You should definitely watch some videos from defyn; they are easy to understand and will greatly improve your game, especially with missiles
You can buy crew skill points; I highly recommend it

Bro is on the grind 🗿it went from day to night 🫡
You already know
Not hating but since you just bought a jet and have low crew your just always gonna be at a huge disadvantage especially in top tier

tip: step away from the game if you rage, the rage makes you not play as well
