After cutting the armhole like this, are we also going to cut the sleeve same way e.g, making one side of the sleeve deepper in cutting than the other or equal on both sides? Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback.. if I understand you well, I would answer by saying, after you achieve your armhole length, accurately and after cutting out the armhole curve, what i do is, measure the length of the armhole curve and apply same to the sleeve
Is there no formula for shoulder slant. Cos u jusr said slant 3 inches. U have explained the armhole well. But the slant is confusing pls clearify on this
Thank you for your feedback... When it comes to shoulder slant, the standard measurement is 3 inches for adults, and 2 inches for kids.. however, you have to consider the body build of your client to be able to arrive at the perfect slant that will fit their body type.
Yes, in joining him in this question, where exactly is 3inches slant?..is it at actual shoulder base measurements or at the main material being cut out.. example, if the shoulder is 20inches, is the 3inches slant at the shoulder 20?... because if we tried to analyze here at this material slant, that means the main shoulder is 2.5 inches slant...l want to know. Thanks
Coming soon.. but you can also check my earlier video on how to avoid armhole folding, to see if your question was answered.. if not, comment there and I'll make another video

Hellow sir you have said about shirt side, what about sleeve side?? If my chest is 46 you mean that the width of sleeve will be 9.5 or 11.5??
Thank you for your feedback.. if I understand you well, I would answer by saying, after you achieve your armhole length, accurately and after cutting out the armhole curve, what i do is, measure the length of the armhole curve and apply same to the sleeve
So you mean that there is no specific formula to cut the sleeve sir?? Until you take the measurements of armhole??
If you would be clear what you want to know, I can make a video on the topic
Help me how to cut the sleeve of that shirt.....the same measurements

pls how did you arrive at the 3 inches shoulder slant?
It's a standard measurement that's used.
Is this applied to kids from 3 yrs till 10 esp. The shoulder slant??
For kids you can use a shoulder slant of 3 2.5 or 2,based on how you observe their body form
Is this formula also good when sewing for kids ?
Everything explained here is applicable to all sizes
Is the formula the same for a woman
If you're referring to the armhole , yes
