This definitely should be a permanent science-art exhibition, with a higher permanent observation point where you can see the lights in real time. I'm totally sure that this project can drag the best people to even install some of the moons and do it.
Damn, I got so excited that I will make my own scale planetary system with blackjack and alcohol,
Germán S google earth black rock desert you can still makeout faint drag marks in the lake bed of their outer planet "orbits"
@Ashton Lovell a year ago new satellite photos I am sure. When I checked last year they were there.
I think there’s one in Sweden, but bigger. WAY bigger. Like, the size of Sweden.
dont forget about hookers
Great job. The planets are so far from each other. Will we ever even get to the closest star?
Going to show both "To Scale: The Solar System" and the "Making Of" videos to my 7th grade science students!
+bogie2680 I reported your channel for boogie2988 impersonation..
????
+iCollectDeadBirds having a similar name aint violating any youtube rules
+bogie2680 Ignore iCollectDeadBirds, I'm extremely glad to hear that you'll be showing this in class! I feel like this could truly help show a point in a fun way =)
Are you still showing it every year? Keep it up! :)
I love scientists.
Sharon Wichmann me too sharon
@@nxwah that was 3 years ago
@@mr.avocado8774 It was 5 years ago.

Whoever filmed and edited this needs more appreciation
one of the coolest videos i have seen in a long long time! incredible conceptualization and flawless execution fellas.! love it!
It's the fifth or the sixth time I'm looking at it after some months. You're great, guys. I just need to remind myself where we are on such a tiny scale in the universe. It's mind blowing
You guys are awesome. That's all.
Ok, so next time, include the moons of Jupiter. (Good luck to the driver :P )
+Hannodb1961 Well that's definitely not going to happen =P
+TrackpadProductions Never say Never. Someone might just say: "Challenge accepted".
Wouldn't need a driver for that bit
and the of the moons of the other planets
making of just as exciting as, or even more than the original one!
Keep going with this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This video was also excellent. I understand the informality of it, but it answers a lot of questions that I guess are only significant to geeks that do this kind of stuff.... like me... Thanks again for your sharing your dream.
Thank you guys. This is amazing. It needs to be repeated, much longer and done in Imax.
It's never been done, and because we felt like it. MOTIVATION & INSPIRATION.
So amazing
This blows my mind. All of your videos are brilliant and beautiful!
I love the inspiration, and I also love the style of the film. Great!
I’m predicting it now, this is going to be recommended to everyone in 2021
Man even the making of is awesome! Hats up to the guy who edited it
What a great project. Well done! Looks like you all had a good time in the process. Thanks for sharing.
It would be cool to also see an accurate "elevation" how some planets would appear higher or lower depending on our reference point
I should show this video to my students in space mechanics class..........you guys were appreciated lot by colleagues......good luck..........
One of the most underrated video from UA-cam logarithms. I say that's a greatest educational video, which can inspire millions of students. #khudos
You guys are amazing! It's so important to understand that the earth and really the solar system are so small compared to everything in the universe. It's humbling and amazing to think of the earth as a marble, and I believe you folks are going a great thing by showing people this perspective. Once you come to terms with the size of everything, the world becomes a simple place where we exist and that's it!
Words can't describe how happy this makes me feel. Beautiful work!
I love this! Very cool to pull this off- you guys are nuts! Thanks for doing and sharing.
Amazing, stupendous, wonderful. Good job guys!

Wonderful, thank you x
I really love this video.!!
Fantastic and fun project!
It's certainly never been done before, quite like that, as far as I know.
In no way do I want to diminish this marvelous project but I would add that "to scale" models of the solar system have been done before.
Thamks for doing this. Awe inspiring
THIS IS SO BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys ROCK!
Amazing, deserves more views
Why has your "To Scale: The Solar System" been withdrawn - it was so awesome!
It's still up on our channel! The National Geographic verison was removed.
Yup..awesomeness at it's best.
What a wonderful work. It's also interesting when one reckons: in that a dozen kilometer scale miniature world, his gentle walking would be faster than speed of light; and in that time lapse, the Neptune is running 5 billion times faster than it should be, for a round of Neptune would nearly cost two men's lifetimes.
That was amazing!
This is very inspiring and helpful.
amazing!
Oh My God. that is genius work damn.
Awesome!

I wish there was more to this after the work was done. All this work and only a 3 second clip to share how it came out.
