Not one Senator or Representative should hold office if they believe this country is a Democracy...WE ARE A REPUBLIC AND HAVE BEEN SINCE INCEPTION....There is a huge difference between a Republic and a Democracy, it's time people did some research on the difference.
@@joelskelley2625 wrong, its a constitutional republic, ours is rather unique as well, so in a way its the "american version" of a constitutional republic... , which is designed to counter act mob rule, split power through the different branches of creation and appeal, one for enforcement and protection and the other focusing on interpretation and representing the constitution and rights, each that work in tandum and counter action and leaving people out of the equation, outside from gaining their position by way representation, but at this point, the control is handed to them. with the elected officials representing the people and limited by the constitution and split geographically by way of state and federally and limited by power the represent by each branch respectively and the locals they represent via local->districts->then state-> then federal, this is further separated by polarity of the parties, which I think should be removed since the majority rules, thats just my opinion though. at least that's how its supposed to work. where as a democracy is just the mob of people as one entity versus the few they like to make decisions based on their interests and problem solve, a huge difference. the founders definitely didn't have contingency for everyone being so connected and swayed, thank god it isn't a democracy but thanks to our advancements, its beginning to lean that way.
this is why government and law should be an absolute requirement for every citizen to learn or forgo their ability to vote. People have no fucking idea how it works and politicians, media, companies and religious groups use that to their advantage, even other countries since the cultural melting pot of values.
How is it if you ask for an investigation into a political opponent it's a crime but the ones running against you can vote to remove you from office ?? Can someone explain?
at the very end I love how Diane feinstein just totally oblivious wanders out of there it's so great watch it when Schumer was talking it's great just watch her little legs and off to Denny's for that special
