I feel like “Monster” from Epic The Musical perfectly summarize what Grian might be going through in this arc or even his past, embracing that he's a watcher to protect everyone to loves. Literally becoming a monster to everyone but _them._ AND OHH!! It's the same watcher from before! So there might be a couple of rebellious watcher who got forced into becoming a watcher. Maybe to throw the system. If the “It has began” referred to Grian discovering about what happened to the other EVO member, then they're waiting for Grian to find his purpose to fight. To found the people he cared about and protect them out of love. (Yes this is a reference to Out For Love) Since we're shown the other rogue watcher, I'll assume the unknown watcher that stood behind Grian is the same Watcher that talks to our mysterious allies. Although this one is debatable because the colour is different, from wings to the magic, but it could be because of them changing form (Since we know Grian are mainly shown with magenta/pink colour but we also see his magic can become red)
Is Zee being controlled. He has the hypnotized eyes? Edit: also why is X so angry at the end… does he know that watcher? Obviously more than he attacked the server… but still the others were relatively calm but X was shooting daggers at that watcher.
X is just more concerned for why Grian is so mad. Also, Zee is being brainwashed like every forcibly turned Watcher is. To keep him loyal to the Watchers and use him to get Grian back, they convinced him the Watchers were the good guys and the others are brainwashing Grian to keep him away from them
