I will have to go with picks based on temperature so for moderate to cold I will go with Carolina Herrara Confidential Collection-Mystery Tobacco (a tobacco fragrance I prefer this over Herod which is actually extremely good itself) and my 2nd pick for moderate to warm would be Giorgio Armani Prive-Vetiver d'Hiver
@@hespokestyle Yes, well it is in Canada where I'm from. I saw it on Nordstrom website, so it is probably readily available in Nordstrom stores in the US
I own both of your selections. Aventus was my first venture in to the House of Creed. Love the scent, although I don't wear it much. However, I wear the Tom Ford all the time!
For my ultimate two-fragrance collection I would choose: Floris Cefiro - Perfect for Spring & Summer Floris Mahon Leather - A great choice for Fall & Winter Great video!
I regret sleeping on Green Irish Tweed. The moment I smelled it, it automatically jumped into my Top 3 of all time. Just an impressive, unforgettable scent.
Want that same exact scent to last all day long instead of 2-4hrs and project & have great longevity also for a WAY cheaper price? Check out Alexandria The Irish Gentleman EDP. It's EVRRYTHING GIT SHOULD be.
My two, taken straight in order from my favorites collection: 1. Ralph Lauren Polo Green: "the scent of a man" much the same way Coco Chanel called her No. 5 "the scent of a woman". 2. Dior Eau Sauvage EDT: The best idealized long-lasting classic citrus cologne with citrus so effervescent it's like a drug.
1. green irish tweed by Creed. its fresh, green and musky.great for warmer days.great gentleman fragrance.its very uplifting and versatile. 2. tom fords tobacco vanille. it has an opulent and rich feel of tobacco, spices, dried fruits and a touch of sweetness. in the cold weather it makes me feel warm and so relaxed and confident.
My 2 ABSOLUTE favorites: 1. Prada Luna Rosa (The original one, I have all of them) 2. 212 NYC MEN (I get more compliments when I wear either of these) 2. Tied with 212- Dolce & Gabanna (the original dark blue one)...comes on a bit strong but once it calms down, it's DEFINITELY a head turner!!!
1) Reflection Man Amouage - Spring, Summer Nights, Autumn, Winter, Dressed up, Casual. 2) Original Vetiver Creed - Spring, Summer High Heat, Dressed up, Casual, Office. A perfect 1-2 combo. (They’re expensive but JPG Le Male & Mugler Cologne cud be substituted to suit all pockets)
For the past 3 years I have been alternating between 2 scents. Monday,Wed, Friday I use Burberry London. Tuesday & Thursday I use Fahrenheit Original by Christian Dior. I use these year round. If I had to choose 1 it would be Burberry London I fell in love with it immediately. Someone told me that Burberry Brit is better but im afraid to try it because I dont want it to replace London for me.
My office and all around scent would be my all time favorite: Terre d'Hermes by Hermes. For evenings and special occasions: L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Eau Extreme (Lidge) by Guerlain, the original formulation; incomparable!
Wow, if I had to choose only two? Almost impossible but it would have to be Creed Royal Oud and Hermes Bel Ami. I feel like Bel Ami is one of the most overlooked fragrances. I feel like it’s a timeless gentleman scent with so much depth & character, class & elegance.
Bleu de Chanel EDP: versatile and great for the office. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense: My top pick for Spring/Summer - it performs great in the high heat of the Southwest.
Owned D&G LBEI for a long time and it still amazes me how it goes from a pleasant, enjoyable but fairly average scent to pure perfection as soon as the heat gets up into those big numbers
1) Dior - Suavage To me it just smells crisp and clean. good all rounder 2) Thierry Mugler - Pure Malt It's got that masculine whisky smell. good for colder days and evenings.
Dior Homme Cologne - I love the strong citrus notes:) For now my second fragrance is Dior Sauvage - I like it because it is very refreshing and masculine, but it is very intended so everyone smells it in a distance of 1-2 meters, which is not perfect in every scenario. And it's polarizing - someone loves it, someone hates it.
If you like it more complicated and masculine, then try out Tom Ford Tobacco Oud. If you want a more mass-appealing fragrance, try out Amouage Reflection. It's worth every penny😉
@@hespokestyle No problem. Keep up the great work!😃 Maybe you have some spare money, then Amouage Reflection should be the next fragrance you add to your collection😎
I recently stumbled upon scents from “Eight and Bob”. Their perfumes Cap D Antibes and Egypt are just mind blowing. I love green irish tweed too. Have had it for 2 years. Love it.
Tuscan Leather and Balade Sauvage - a balance between a dark animalistic and bright floral - they both are very versatile and unique. The Dior is a safe play for work, meetings, summer, spring, flights, casual everyday... While the TF is more of a power play fragrance for the evening, cold weather, formal events

My two picks Spring and summer: CREED AVENTUS fall and winter : TOM FORD AMBER ABSOLUTE Carlos, I thought for sure tom ford amber absolute was going to be one of your picks.
one absolute fragrance i have used nearly 20 years ago and will never forget and know has trebled in price in the UK is Helmut Lang Eau de Cologne and Curion.. FANTASTIC FRAGRANCE
Love this video Brian. You got the A Team for this one lol. Super difficult decision. Like 20 fragrances come to mind. I'll go with; *Aletiers Cologne Cedre Atlas* and *By Killian Straight To Heaven Extreme*
Great video, Brian! I’ve been wearing the same two fragrances for the last 15 years and this video has really helped me to explore (in this COVID environment) the world of fragrances a bit more.
He Spoke Style I’ve been wearing Hermes/Eau d’Orange Vert and Carolina Herrera/Herrera for Men. I still really love both but I’ve been wanting to expand a bit. I just ordered Green Irish Tweed, Original Vetiver, and Aqua di Parma -I should be all set for the rest of summer! Thanks for all the great vids!
My daily/office wear is Porsche Design Titan EDT. Evening is between Dior Sauvage EDP and Aqua Di Gio Profumo. I'm also thoroughly enjoying Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP as a spring/summer fragrance. Fall/Winter choice is Gucci Pour Homme or Valantino Uomo. Damn. Can't choose just two!! Great video!
Profumo is great. I had to make the switch after developing an allergy to Aventus (I think I created an allergy to Oak Moss from constant exposure to it). Breaks my heart that Profumo has been discontinued.
Great video idea and great editing! If I had to choose 2 from my current collection, it would be Marc Jacobs Rain (Splash) and Tom Ford Oud Wood. Whilst Rain does lean more on the feminine side, the opening smell just takes me to a different place every time; all I can think about it is walking through a lush field on a warm spring/summer early morning with the smell of rain and flowers coming up around me. Oud Wood on the other hand, is much more masculine, a much more dominating presence though surprisingly inoffensive at the same time. Much better for the cooler seasons, and maybe on a night out if it isn't too hot.
Brian, I would have actually gone with Ralph Lauren Polo and Green Irish Tweed. Then again I think Prada L'homme & Chanel Bleu de Chanel Parfum or maybe Creed Adventus & Parfum de Marly Herod. Heck 10 for life if I'm lucky.
I have probably 50+ options...and this is a challenging question for sure. #1 by far is Tommy Bahama Men (original 2005). #2 is the hard part - and if I have to choose (have Creed GIT, a few TF options, Fahrenheit, Chanel Egoiste, options, etc.)...I think TF Tobacco Vanille would have to be #2.
Thanks also to e everyone who actually laid the fragrances out so that I could take a screenshot of the items for when I am on the lookout for a special fragrance for an upcoming wedding
The first one is easy: Creed Viking The second one is headaches, but probably one of those * Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord * Creed Bois du Portugal * Tom Ford *something* Tobacco, probably Tobacco Vanille Because Creed Viking and Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord work well together, I probably would choose these two, so that I can get a third by combining.
Hello my good man; I am a sucker for the old school fragrances, and I don't have a ton of exposure to fragrances (although I tend to steer clear of anything made post 2000's) - my 2 would be Tabac Original edc, and Ted Lapidus Pour Homme (since Aramis Calligraphy Rose is discontinued). It appears that I have a preference for floral scents as long as they are not dainty or airy. Speaking of which - in the week ahead I expect to receive Chanel No.5 (yes I would wear it as a guy), as well as Creed GIT and Aventus, and Aramis Havana (which I see is almost unanimously voted as Aramis' best fragrance on multiple forums). Regards from your friend in South Africa! Ps - I picked up Flusser's "Style and the Man" today, and I'm glad I did, although if I am honest with you I still need to compare it with Dressing the Man to see whether anything new or different can be gleaned. In any case, I must admit that I would have probably bought it anyway since I tend to buy any menswear book I can get my hands on.
I've tried hundreds of fragrances, so this is kinda tough. But right now, two that come to mind are Stan Lee Cologne (pick up a bottle while supplies last), which has a nice bergamot floral musk vibe. Also, Zirh Corduroy, which is a cinnamon woodsy smell. Those 2 should cover a lot of bases.
Great video Brian. I've been an Obsession by Calvin Klein man for about 25 years. Watching your video proves to me that I should probably experiment and see what else is out there. Thanks.
Awesome video Brian. Love all the collaborators as well. My scents would be: 1. Noir de Noir : This scent oozes confidence and really is a refreshing scent not many people I know have. I have been on the Tom Ford bandwagon for a few years now and I absolutely love getting compliments on this scent. Perfect for a night life cologne. 2. Mixture: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver and Tom Ford Ombre Leather : I am a fan of mixing colognes and these two go perfect together. I love creating a distinctive scent. Vetitver is sweet and soft while Ombre Leather smells like a fresh biker jacket. Very manly and rugged. These are mine.
Noir de noir, yes. That was almost my second frag. On the other choice get your nose on amber absolute before you choose ombre leather, you decision will dramatically change. Im a huge tom ford collector and trust me when I say its a beastly masterpiece. Just ask carlos from brooklyn fragrance lover and dave from fragrance bros.
If I had to go down to two? BDC Parfum and Dior Homme Parfum. Two of my favorites. Neither are in my top two favorites in my collection, but the best choices for me for this scenario.
Second. This was a nice video man. But a lot of these frags can be rather expensive for the normal crowd. But definitely those are the top picks because of their great scents. I'd pick davidoff cool water for the warmer weather (yeah I know it's cheap and synthetic but it still smells pleasant to me). I don't stay in a cold climate but armani stronger with you/viktor and rolf spice bomb should work fine
An all star cast of reviewers, and very interesting picks! Off topic but I love your Patek btw! I've been searching high and low for a 5711A with no luck so far!
Thanks so much. So pleased these gentlemen agreed to do the collab. Appreciate the 5711 comment as well. If you're looking for one at retail, all I can say is good luck. I was very fortunate to have been offered mine. Check out my watch collection video for the full story!
Great video Brian 👌 My 2 keep only fragrances would be Terre d'hermes for the summer/spring time, i really love this one and it's still not that popular here in Egypt. My second one would be L'instant de guerlain pour homme for the colder weather and night outs, its classy and sophisticated and gets me a lot of compliments.
Brian, are you or any of your featured guests familiar with Baryshnikov Pour Homme Cologne? It's a very fresh, Spring-like scent, very subtle but mysteriously delicious to smell. I don't believe it's in production anymore although you can find it on Ebay at elevated prices. Just thought I would ask as I don't have the whole story as to why it was discontinued. Thanks for a great video. I'm definitely going to try Creeds Green Irish Tweed.
Great video! I've always wanted to know what everyone's top fragrances for life would be. As of now mine would be Creed Aventus for day and Layton by PdM for night.
I would choose 4 because i can’t brake them down to 2 beacuse i love them all! So my 4 favorites are: Mont Blanc Individual L’homme ideal by Guerlain edt Old Eau Savage by Dior Burberry Brit edt
Green Irish Tweed (Spring, Summer and early fall maybe) and Viking by Creed (Fall/Winter/Early Spring). I love the smell of both - the Viking takes a little getting used to, but it just wraps around me and it's very spicy. I love it. or I would go with Guerlain Vetiver and Guerlain Red Rouge.
I think it's best to make a selection of fragrances based on price. With affordable fragrances I would go for Dior homme intense and Armani code parfum. Runners up would be Prada L'homme, Givency gentleman EDP and Guerlain L'homme ideal l'intense. With expensive/nice fragrances I would go for Tom Ford ombré leather and oud Marrakech blend oud. Runners up would be YSL tuxedo, Acqua di parma oud, Diptyque Boulevard saint germain EDP and Serge Lutens sergui
I can afford more expensive colognes like creed but my fav is the classic Azzaro pout homme. Very clean and masculine. I always get compliments from this cologne.
What is YOUR ultimate two-fragrance collection?
Nishane Hacivat for the warmer months and Bacarat Rouge 540 extrait for the cooler months.
Amouage Reflection man , Dior Fahrenheit
Tom Ford Ombré Leather and Terre d'Hermès
I will have to go with picks based on temperature so for moderate to cold I will go with Carolina Herrara Confidential Collection-Mystery Tobacco (a tobacco fragrance I prefer this over Herod which is actually extremely good itself) and my 2nd pick for moderate to warm would be Giorgio Armani Prive-Vetiver d'Hiver
Desert Island fragrances ... hmmmm.... I'd certainly go for Shay And Blue's Blood Oranges and Frederic Malle's the Night (Al Layal).
Thank you very much for having me be a part of this collaboration! It means a lot. The video came out great!
Appreciate you work, Steven! Thanks again!
I need to check out Carlisle if this is Stevens one of two. It's hard to come by!

1.Bottega Veneta
2.Dolche Cabana
Green Irish Tweed because I wore it to my job interview and Mugler's Pure Malt because it get plenty of compliments and it smells great.
Great selection. Will try some of these suggestions. Creed seems to be a popular choice. Great idea to collab.
Yes, GIT is a classic.
awww, man. haven't seen this before. It was a nice surprise seeing Carlos pop up in this.
Green Irish Tweed and Tom Ford Oud Wood are the 2 that I couldn’t live without!
Great choices! Thanks for the comment, Jay!
He Spoke Style great channel keep it up!
Tom ford - Oud wood
Parfums De marly - Carlisle
Great choices. Thanks for that!
Right now I am totaly obsessed with Tom Ford Umbre Leather but here are my all time favourite:
Parfum De Marly Kalan
Floris Honey Oud
Great video! I've always wanted to know what everyone's top fragrances for life would be. As of now mine would be Creed Aventus for day and Layton by PdM for night.
Great choices!
Lovely to see all in a single platform.
PDM Layton and Elysium hands down for me. Always what I seem to reach for the most.
I would choose 4 because i can’t brake them down to 2 beacuse i love them all! So my 4 favorites are: Mont Blanc Individual L’homme ideal by Guerlain edt Old Eau Savage by Dior Burberry Brit edt
I am enjoying Noir Extreme! I'm keeping that one for life! Dior Sauvage for Spring Summer and Noir Extreme Fall Winter
Thanks for chiming in!
Bro. Man. Co. Sign bout. Noir. Extreme
For a daytime scent I’m going with Creed Aventus Cologne and for evening, definitely Tom Ford Noir de Noir!
cheap one:winter dior homme perfume, summer chanel allure homme sport edt
expensive one: winter Tom Ford Tobacco Wood, summer Creed Green Irish Tweed.
Thanks so much for chiming in.
Think it’s time to pick up some Creed
Indeed!
GIT and Hdp 1725 are my top picks!! Can never go wrong with them
Micaleff Royal Vintage and my old school signature 2005 formulation Dior Homme
Thanks for chiming in!
Spring/Summer Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, Fall/Winter Parfums De Marly Herod, damn you sure I can’t fit Aventus in there somewhere 😀
Haha. I'm going to have to smell some Parfums de Marly.
I love Versace "Eros" and Maison Margiela "Replica - Jazz club"
Lots of great choices here! I think I would go with Acqua di Parma Colonia for warm weather and L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme for cold weather.
Actually, I’m going to change my warm weather pick from Colonia to Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet. I think it’s more versatile.
Just to be different :
Autumn / Winter: Super Cedar - Byredo
Spring / Summer Fleur D'orange - LeLabo
My favorites of all time:
Creed Aventus
Tom Fords Oud Wood
FatCheese 808 Tom Ford La Fleur is also nice.
Very cool selections.
I can afford more expensive colognes like creed but my fav is the classic Azzaro pout homme. Very clean and masculine. I always get compliments from this cologne.
1. Georgio Armani Profumo
2. DG The One Royal Night.
Tom Ford Noir extreme and L'Occataine Baux, one is sophisticated and elegant and the latter is country, outdoorsy masculine for everyday wear.
