I was a muslim 2 months ago. Never believed in Jesus. Lately my marriage is going through crisis, because I wrote with other women and my wife found out. She wanted a divorce. We have 2 beautiful kids and a beautiful home. Life was crashing down on me and I didn't want to lose my family so I started praying to our heavenly father for a sign. My wife didn't even hug me for almost 3 years. Couple days later after praying she came to me and just hugged me. Out of the blue. So I am now baptized and find the light of our lord jesus christ. I'm still fighting everyday to get my wife back and I am praying every day for forgiveness. I'm glad that I found our savior jesus christ.

Me and my co-worker used to sing along to "Why We Sing" on the radio at work, and I wasn't even a Christian then! I'd like to think it was seeds being planted that would eventually be watered to bear fruit and later re-sown into the soil of the next generation as Mr. Franklin's music was the backdrop for the lives of the young people I served through youth programs for 10 years. We memorized and sang his songs on our numerous road trips. Many of these now adults have come to the Lord themselves and I'm SURE are continuing to pass on the legacy of this awesome anointing. Keep writing, healing and saving generations of lives, Mr. Franklin! 👏👏👏

The word of God must be read in the Spirit and not just with your mind. I had the same problem, if you have to read the same scripture over and over again until you get it, you're better off to do that then try to read a lot without understanding.

I was impressed upon to respond to your query - though not addressed to me - by your appreciation for Kirk's amazing talent given to him by God. The thing is, he uses his talent to praise, honor and glorify God which is what we are called to do.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." ~ (Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV)
This text states that because our sole purpose in this life is to obey and worship God, it is clear we must walk according to His precepts in order for us to attain the higher plane of our earthly existence. Then and only then will we create an environment for His Spirit to flourish within us; thus sanctifying us for His glory.
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." ~ (John 4:24 KJV)
But in order for us to pass through that veil - if you'll indulge me - from flesh to spirit, is that we must not lean on 'our' own understanding and preconceptions because our understanding, intelligence and wisdom is but finite and flawed, and the secret things of God cannot be understood without help.
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." ~ (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)
So in conclusion dear sister, whenever you go to read God's living, Holy Word - The Bible - pray that He blesses you with His Spirit to lead you into all understanding and truth.
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." ~ (John 16:13 KJV)
And before you doubt that He'll acquiesce to your request, "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." ~ (John 16:23KJV)
Therefore we are to always end our prayers in Jesus' name, amen. Be blessed sister. God's peace and grace be multiplied unto you and yours.

@@iiixdannie_playsxiii4957 The Most High is "no respecter of persons" so at times we can't see the latter end of what we're going through in a situation that earns the favor of God because in the beginning it seems like so many trials and tribulations but deep down Christ is bringing favor your way and taking you to another place after going through some ups and downs, test and trials and then the latter end we end up realizing it was all worth it and that it was the favor of God all along that got us through. Example: When you read about the three Hebrew boys in the lions den when you hear scriptures like "knowing Him (Christ) in the fellowship of His sufferings". "Rahab helped the spies". "Joseph from the pit to the palace". Moses from a basket in a creek, to being raised in Pharoah's kingdom, yet never dishonoring the one and true God and refusing to be called an Egyptian knowing that he was a Hebrew. Be blessed.
