Left food on the stove top. Who leaves food on the stove top and goes out? Had dogs my whole life. You can't leave food out anywhere. They *will* try to get it. Laziness caused the fire.
How's the firemen for over 25 yearrs And we actually saw this quite a few times over the years.Dogs causing fires and gas leaks actually , but it's not unheard of for a dog to start up house fire that happens a lot more than people know
Doggy was trying to get the left overs and hit the buttons accidentally in the process and puff up went the left overs .don't leave leftovers on the stove ever I was taught that by my grandmother who caused a fire by leaving leftover on the stove and she forgot to turn the stove off she's partially blind and it was electrical stove so she didn't realise.hense came the lesson never leave anything on the stove just incase. Children sometimes will play with the buttons when your backs turned so just don't do it .❤❤❤❤❤❤
no knobs on my stove just for this reason, my kids are grown, grand kids use stove at their house. my dog turned empty burner on once and that was enough for me.
You are exactly right all they had to do was turn the chair around but also not leave leftovers on the stove and make sure they leave enough food out for the dogs because if I noticed correctly the bowl is empty.
Don’t leave anything on the stove top if you have gas and dogs or cats ! I use to install gas piping and installed shut off valves to prevent this from happening !
Seriously that size of dog it wouldn't even necessarily matter if you push that chair in under the table. That size of dog knows what it wants to get to it wants to get up on the counter or get up on that stove while it has a chance. They spend the time sitting around the home when we're gone at the store or at work. And even if there wasn't a container with food that it could smell and see from the ground, is highly likely if you can get up on that counter from a chair or from anywhere, it would do so while the humans are gone. Even if just to try and lick the countertop or around the burners on top of the stove. Just for a little bit of grease splatter. Dogs are very much like that. On the dog of that size I have seen many a video with them pushing the chair over just enough to jump up in it, to be able to jump on the counter. Once it's on the counter it can jump back down if it needs to. When the time comes at the humans show back up or it's done counter surfing. They'll get up onto the counter from a nearby chair or if it's a rolling chair they will roll the chair over there jump up in it while spinning around and then jump onto the counter add pull open the toaster oven pull open kitchen cabinets. Larger dogs will open up the dishwasher that hasn't yet been run and start licking the plates and pulling them out. 😊 No but a French bulldog is definitely the right size for that failed maneuver that set the house on fire and could have killed many family members. I mean he was expecting to have family members at home when he rushed home. And it's a couple extended family senior in the home as well as two dogs and six kids. And look how easily that gas stove turned on. I thought this was going to be the video about the two dogs that set the house on fire by chewing on something in the front room. If you haven't seen that video please see that video and tell me what you think of that crazy stuff Totally would make me scared to have a dog in the house or definitely make you think about a lot of stuff and what needs to change. Because we're living in death traps.
The dog didn't cause this fire, his owners did by being so careless leaving not only the chair out, but by leaving leftover food where their dog could be tempted by it. Dogs will do extraordinary feats to get to people food.
CATS CAN TURN ON ELECTRIC STOVES IF DIALS ARE ON THE BACK, HAPPY I WAS HOME. FOOD DON'T NEED TO BE OUT IF THEY SEE WHERE YOU PREP/COOK FOOD, THEY WILL GO THERE
Didn't Samsung just recall a cooker/stove product line because the hotplate/ring controls are pushed (with little pressure) to switch them on and are doing exactly what happened here, often from people just bumping into them?

Soul Food taught me not to leave anything on the stove man.
I was just saying to get a cover for those knobs because of the cats… never thought the dog. I always check the stove too

Make sure your dogs cannot do this. They are recalling those SamSung stoves. This happened a few times.
I'm glad everyone's ok!

Dont leave food or anything on the stove.
Maybe next time we don't "let him/her cook." Yeah?
He wants the leftovers 😂😂😂 pets do crazy things
I watched a video about a dog that chewed up a phone charger, the kind you set your phone on. And it coused a spark that set the couch on fire!!!

always buy a stove with the knobs up on the back behind the burners not on the front like that
Dog sitting in a room that's on fire: "This is fine." 😑

He looks like he wants to take the dog for ride. But it’s really the people’s fault for leaving the food out.
