The story behind this song is wild.
Originally it was a song written by a British Video game UA-camr who was singing a song playing Minecraft.. Now this Italian POWER METAL band cover it.

Several steps in between - Yes, originally about ten words sung by Simon, the UA-camr mentioned, in response to Lewis requesting a song to sing while they dug in search of something ua-cam.com/video/IK7hbdLgLOg/v-deo.html which he then reprised in subsequent videos to the point it became a meme; PatientZero remixed the song, then Reckreations did a fan animation of the song ua-cam.com/video/fR7EAdPUqvQ/v-deo.html ; another fanimation: ua-cam.com/video/SQwUqP9omCo/v-deo.html then the YogsCast came back and remade the whole song with a full animated music video, which is also the point where it was given more lyrics ua-cam.com/video/ytWz0qVvBZ0/v-deo.html ; this is the version that Wind Rose covered. An interesting question - is this the first commercially produced music video by an established band of a meme?

Not even remotely close. But I presume you're not familiar with this genre of music, as a metal fan let me fill you in a little. This can be considered both Folk metal and Power Metal. Viking Metal is a genre. But these guys aren't it. Should you wish to listen to some. I recommend Amon Amarth

I have been a subscriber for almost a year now. I love the videos with your family members. Especially Charlotte, she is so freaking cute. I have always enjoyed your videos until recently. You have mentioned from time to time about people unsubscribing because they don't like your comments. I don't have a problem so much with the comments because you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I would ask you to seriously consider abandoning your grading by number system. I watched dozens of reaction channels and very few if any have a numbering system. The whole LIZZO thing is tedious. The other day you gave a song a 9.9. What in the hell is a 9.9? You had some nit picky reason. It made me angry. You need to stop trying to find some ridiculous reason not to give a song a 10. Better yet, JUST DROP THE NUMBERS!!
