I've been using Wilson cellphone boosters for years. The best way to look at a cellphone booster is look at it like a microphone, amp and speaker. (This would be like a two way set-up but it's best to think about it one way) The outside antenna is the microphone, then it amps up the "volume" to the inside speaker (antenna). If you get them too close together they'll feedback just like a pa system. They work pretty good if you set it up correctly but they don't use polarized frequency which means the speeds won't be as high as it would be if you were getting the same frequency strength straight off the tower.

I have a booster with T-Mobile Home Internet. It does boost the LTE signals, but it will not boost T-Mobile's 5G signals. This is due to the FCC not allowing consumer boosters to boost N41 or N71 at this time. It does stabilize my LTE. Most of the time I'm getting band 66. I typically get 70mps down and 15 mps up. Previously I was getting 3 bars, now I get 5. Band 41 still only gets 2. You will also need to register the booster with your carrier.

All boosters only boost 5G NSA. Not SA 5G. NSA = Non-Stand Alone 5G. Which is basically a extension of 4G LTE signals. SA 5G = Stand Alone. Which uses their own channel focus. So Channels N like N71/41 and even B41 LTE. Won't get boosted. Most companies that boost signals only work on 2, 4/66, 5, 12/17, 13/25 B bands.
I also have a Weboost drive sleek. I tested it as a stationary system. Verizon drops from 109 to around 95. Semi better performance but not very decent. ATT from 106 to 87/95 i get better stability and from 20-50 i get 40-50 and above depending on traffic. T-Mobile though around 115 to 110. I barely noticed much decrease even on both set to 5G NSA and 4G LTE. With or without boosted. Speeds were all over the place. mainly hitting 50's. then sometimes 30's. Though could be due to a cheaper phone. Compared to the other two. Moto G100/S20U.

I bought a cell phone booster for my Verizon home connect system. It's a newer home connect ( 5g ). Well I put it in and it DIDNT help my Verizon system, BUT it did amazing things for my cell phone. I've lived in my home for 23 years and my cell phone has NEVER WORKED IN MY HOUSE. Now my home phone DOES not work well, but my cell phone does. Go figure. I do know though that in my area, the signal is NOT good on good days. I'm curious about when the leaves come on the trees how that will affect it. I do have a question though because the new Verizon system is an upgrade from what I had before. It was also a home connect system but it was a 4g. Now I had an antennae for that too but no " booster ". It worked Great. No dropped calls or anything like that. Now I have the new 5g box and I get lousy service. GREAT cell service though. Kinda neat I guess.

If you don't wanna fork to much. There's 2 companies that have Car/SUV boosters and people use them as stationary functions. I done same and it works well, Even for a tiny 23db outside antenna with only 18watts usage on the Weboost drive Sleek. Only 1 device and has a cradle. But you'll get the full boost. Compared to the ones with external antenna's like this that will differ on range depending how far the inside/outside antenna's are and how distances you are from the inside antenna.
So if you don't wanna do any insane crud. Surecall N-Range 2.0 or Weboost Drive-Sleek are good options. And it'll work on the jetpacks. Just have it sit on the cradle with a rubber band in the center.
I use a ATT Moto G100 on my Weboost stationary and i dropped from around 100-109 to 87-95db. From speeds of 20-50 download to more stable 40-50. Sometimes even hitting up to 70 or 100 on no traffic times.
Course the phone will still 'switch' towers no matter. Because the N-Range/Drive Sleek are still Omi-Directional antenna's. But they boost rather well for tiny systems. And both only cost 200$ compared to the higher stuff for inside range antenna's of like 400-500$+. Unless you go signal room deals. But again you'll want to be as close to the antenna's of those as much as you can with the hotspot device.
