Abandoned Arne's Royal Hawaiian Motel

Quick tour of the abandoned Arne's Royal Hawaiian Motel in Baker, CA.
Sadly, vandals and scavvers have really torn though this place, and at one point it was set on fire. I hope to make it back out here before it is demolished to do a more deep exploration of it.

Cool video. I was able to get some decent photography of both the exteriors and interiors in 2015. I passed through again in 2019, but the place was already declining due to additional vandalism. I'm surprised the city of Baker hasn't razed the location.
BTW-this hotel was used in the movie, "The Big Empty" check it out.

Appreciate it. Checked out that movie last night, quite an enjoyable flick. It was also cool seeing some of the motel while it was still in use, it was hard to picture it in its current state. Cheers!
