When I first started riding I started riding this BEAUTIFUL black mare, almost identical to Lola: her name was coal. She was 100% my heart horse for all the years we spent together as lesson partners, summer camp teams, and the best pair in our barn. But sadly nothing lasts forever, and her owner moved her away to another province for university. I’m still heartbroken and cry for her every day. I know, the end of our forever is over. (For now.), her owner is coming back in 3-5 years but coal might be sold. I really need tips on saying goodbye to horses
Wow I’m so sorry! I feel you. I rode this one horse Sloan. He was my heart horse. I would see him every day and ride him sometimes when I’m lucky. I would feed him treats occasionally too. Unfortunately he had to retire and I can’t ride him anymore ❤️ It feels like seeing a ghost when I walk by him everyday at the stables❤️

It's amazing how much horse riding lessons differ in different countries, I'm from Poland and it looks completely different here. Mickey is soooo cute btw, and you ride amazing! ♥

Your trainer is something else like that filming skills 20/10. Quick question where did you get your riding pants recently i’ve been looking for like light grayish breeches so my legs don’t get overheated with my lovely hot weather. Also the Dark bay Thoroughbred kinda looks like Mickey just without the face markings.

This is a bit out of the ordinary and might be out of your comfort zone or maybe there are no supplies for it, but i would reccomend trying working equitation! It´s a really nice way to bond with your horse in my opinion!
