Hi! I married a pakistani and evrytime i cook for him i watch your video😊im so happy bcoz he liked it so much! Thanks for the help!
Made this last week and omg it taste really nice. Thankyou such a simple easy recipe
Going to make this recipe this morning. Butcher has cut the chicken up for me and I need to remove the skin. It doesn't matter what size a kitchen is, it is the person who is doing the cooking. I have colleagues who have huge expensive kitchens and they don't cook??? My kitchen is 10' by 10' and I have what I need to hand. I think it is your honest passion that draws me to your channel. I started watching a 'famous' chef for this recipe, watched for two minutes, then searched for your video. Now it is time to put it to the test. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for such a wonderful comment. I hope it went down a treat. We always get out butcher to remove the skin first before cutting it up - makes it much easier for us
I hope you enjoyed the recipe.
Absolutely gorgeous and the food looks lovely too
I have guests on sunday and this is one of the dishes i will be doing. Thankyou

Delish😋
I'm doing this for my next sunday roast
👌
Looks soo mouth watering. Did you add anything to the leftover marinade at the end?
You're beautiful and your cooking just shines through. I'm going to make this tonight.
We grew up eating this.
Another one to my list absolutely to perfection THANK YOU, can this be done with drumsticks and thigh cuts smaller pieces. Also is this baby whole chicken or medium whole chicken cut into 4 pieces?
I am using this recipe for a guests for triple quantity do I simply triple all quantities in line with your original recipe guide and triple the time in cooking
How come you did not use the Pataks Tandori paste as you did when in your air frier tandoori chicken receipt ?
Will try this recipe this week. Do you have a recipe for nihari?
Enjoy, it's such a lovely recipe ☺
Not at the minute but it's coming soon 👍
Can I use white potatoes instead
what did you put in the pan
Tried this today masala on tandoori chicken was delicious just potatoes as covered by chicken pieces had to be further cooked separately until soft. Will try again possibly boiling red potatoes a little before roasting otherwise ideal one tray bake very much enjoyed 😊
I know it's been a few months now, but if you don't want to add a step in the cooking process, you can cut the potatoes thinner next time and they'll cook faster.
Thank you Rashid for sharing your late Mothers recipe - Shamza has defo done her proud! We loved this last week! So easy and quick to make x
What if I want only 4 pieces ? Shall I reduce the spices etc? It looks so lovely
Hiya. This truly looks incredible. I was looking for a diff type of chicken roast recipe and there it is ! Question : instead of the whole chicken, what if i use full legs only ? How many (or how much) would i need ? And also does it mean i would need to reduce the cooking time ? Please let me know, im planning to make this on saturday. Thanks a lot !!! You re amazing !
Hi Nazia, sorry for the late reply. When you say full legs do you mean thigh+drumstick?! If so stick with however many peices i have. If you're referring to just drumsticks then I'd say around 1.5kg as the weight of my chicken peices were around that No need to reduce the spices and yes if you're using drumsticks then yes they'll need 20mins or so less cooking time.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes thanks ! I made the chicken this morning. I went with my gut and i used 10 full legs (yes thight + drumstick) and it was perfect ! Everyone loved your recipe, thank you so much !! Oh and i did your masala fish fry for the first time as well = huge success !! You re awesome !
This looks fab but how hot is it? My husband usually goes for mild. *Just got to the leave out the green chillies bit.
Hi Mary, great to see you on UA-cam 😊
It's mildly spiced when your done cooking but if you wanted to be on the safe side then yes, leave the green chillies out 👍
😋 how did u make the gravy, wat is added to the juices of chicken
Razia, just make a cornflour slurry and add to the gravy drippings in a pan.and thicken over heat. Add as much as you need to, to get a thick gravy consistency 😊
Aslam alakum UA-cam beautiful 😍 family little kitchen “Happy new year 2022 hope it brings blessing 😇 happiness 😃 in ur home 🏡/ ur lives may Allah 🕋 always be upon u keep u in safe hands 🙌 nice 👍 work chief 👩🏻🍳”Thumbs 🆙🔥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💥
Hi Shamsa, would I be ok using this recipe for 15 chicken legs; or would I need to adapt? Thanks so much x
Salaam.
May I ask exactly what quantity of cornflour and water is needed to make the slurry as I have read too much cornflour can make a gravy "gloopy". Tia
Wsalaam Selina, that is correct but only if you pour the entire slurry mixture in to thicken a gravy. Make a slurry using 5/6 tablespoons of cornflour to around 3/4 tablespoons of water... mix well and then add in slowly whilst the gravy juices are on the heat and stir to thicken. Remember, it may need more slurry to thicken or less as it depends on the amount of gravy juice. Hope that helps
Assalamualaikum, could I cook this with skin on or must skin be removed? Thanks! X
Hi, just wondering why the yoghurt clumps up when it comes out of the oven
Hi, mine didn't clump up at all. Make sure you've mixed the marinate well to help the yoghurt break up.
Hi how did u make the gravy ?
Noreen, I used the juices in the tray and thickened it with a cornflour slurry.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes
Thank you.
It looks really yummy.
Will b trying it 🙂
salam can we use tandoori chicken aswell or best just normal chicken or baby chicken ?
Wsalaam Saj, sorry what do you mean Tandoori chicken? Drumsricks? You can use whatever you wish aslomg as it's approx 1.6kg of meat in weight
There is an error between the video ingredients and the listed ingredients, the listed ingredients misses out the coriander powder. Just thought I’d let you know should you be able to correct this. Love the videos and the dishes 10/10.
Hi just checked, the coriander powder is listed in the ingredients in the description box.
What if I don’t cover it?
Chicken looks lovely but not too sure about the potatoes, roast potatoes are the best.
😢😢 I was going to say fatty
❤❤❤❤😢😢😢 sis can I ask you one thing how come you're unfair do you cooking good food put some whiskey or vodka in there would you mind please I'm drunk as hell I'm sorry my misbehaving😂😂😂😂❤❤❤😂
