YIPPEE! Not! Star Wars is getting old. This is being use by Disney, to promote their new Star Wars movie! And EPIC is thrilled getting paid to do so!!
As a 1.0 players this update is basically pointless but I can see how it’d be good for a 2.0 user

Absolutely correct! I’m on a PS5, and this Creative 1.0 update is the weakest update I’ve seen in a LONG time. Very disappointing! A few useless little props, no useful devices…. basically crap. Continuing building maps in Creative 1.0 is getting pointless. And to learn the overwhelming complexity of UEFN CREATIVE 2.0, just to continue building free maps on a PS5 for fun, looks like it’s going to be a pain in the ass.
We’ve been told that UEFN CREATIVE 2.0 is running well on Donald Mustard’s PS5, and should “soon” be coming to the PS5, and or the xBox. “SOON”, could mean weeks, months or years, seeing how EPIC works. Look how long it took EPIC to bring UEFN CREATIVE 2.0 to the PC, after 2+ years of promises, demonstrations and delays!
Our Fortnite Creative map building community, is being split into 3 camps by EPIC. With many Pros and Cons for each camp.
Camp 1. CREATIVE 2.0, UEFN and Unreal Engine 5, to be used by low quality, or decent and pro-map PC builders… looking to get filthy rich building and publishing their maps. Or creating a business forming a new professional CREATIVE TEAM of builders, to produce and publish UEFN maps for profit with Fortnite.
Camp 2. Our old Creative 1.0, and maybe “someday” UEFN CREATIVE 2.0, for hobby console map builders, that just want to build free maps for fun for friends and family to enjoy, and not looking to get paid doing so. And the majority of us still can not easily Publish our non-profit maps, for the public to play.
Camp 3. And, for those of us seeing Fortnite Creative, going to a place we can’t follow. If console builders are left behind, we can watch it happen, quit building maps, or just quit playing Fortnite altogether.
I'm assuming that like the build up to UEFN, Epic are kind of switching gears with their priorities where instead of adding new stuff for Creative 1.0, they're just working to get UEFN out the door. Which admittedly may have led to weaker updates, but eventually allowed Creative 2.0 to FINALLY release. Maybe the same is happening for those still left on Consoles, where now they're just working on getting Consoles UEFN instead of giving them new stuff in the meantime (Better to get a LOT of stuff later than a few things overtime I guess).
@@jameswells4965 Pretty sure that besides the initial demonstration we got when it was first announced, we haven't really seen anything official about UEFN since. There was supposed to be a demonstration in December which got cancelled thanks to it "Not Working". I'm still enjoying messing around with Creative 1.0 though it is rather unfortunate that I can't mess around in UEFN (yet).
While UEFN will almost definitely be a huge thing to learn when it eventually comes to Consoles, unless you're trying to make a map to publish seriously quick or something you should probably just take your time and learn the basics and mess around. It'll probably be like starting Creative 1.0 for the first time.

I get Epic Games is updating UEFN but they completely just abandoned everyone in 1.0 for the past updates now. Hopefully, they give console players UEFN soon.

@@jameswells4965 Or.. Probably never. Uefn is a program, not a game. We will never have the opportunity to use programs on consoles. It's sad to say, but Uefn on a console is something that will never happen. They will probably add some small things to Creative...maybe some things from Battle Royale but nothing else, because Creative is limited. We can say that Creative 1.0 is Uefn on console.

@@REDDRAGON-lh7tm As of right now… we don’t know just how much of CREATIVE 2.0 or UEFN will run on consoles in the near future. Donald Mustard said, he has a version of CREATIVE 2.0 running well on his PS5. So not all is lost just yet. Time will tell.

@@HasimFN That has nothing to do with uefn updating since it has barely even updated. You problem might be because uefn is in beta still, meaning it's highly unstable as of now.
