This is definetly living to the manga, even more than what solo leveling did, no scenes cut and extended ones, while solo leveling did cut some scenes
Solo leveling was over-hyped in my opinion
Bleach tybw and demon slayer do similar things as well
@@arturoquezada8539 true, i love solo leveling, but i don't think the adaptation is going perfectly, primarily the animation, while we have moments which look unbelievable like igris, kang, when it comes to the other 80% of the show when they are talking, it really falls down
Actually rather than the manhwa, solo levelling was adpated from the light novel instead. The manhwa was just the guideline for the animation.
@@mirza5422 I know it was based from the light novels, but that doesn't mean that I was happy they cut out scenes that I wanted to see from the manwa
I love how the Godzilla-style brass came on when the red Kaiju started becoming huge
What I liked about this episode was that all of the Pterosaur kaiju were roughly as powerful as the revived kaiju that beat up Kikoru during the exam.
This time, Kikoru wasn't full of holes from Kaiju No. 9, this time Kikoru had a custom weapon, and because of that, this time Kikoru folded an entire SQUADRON of these kaiju like lawn chairs.
It’s like Netero was about to drop in calling everyone “foolish little ants” when them meteors hit.
And they straight playing Godzilla music when 10 went to Fortitude 9.

Id vote #8 for Anime of year myself, Whole thing is just So! good and So! interesting Im dialed in for every second of every single episode never wanting it to end lol, And based off what Ive seen from Manga so far #8s seemingly never gunna slow down and seems hype is just gunna continue to grow with every Episode and every Season and Im here for it!!

Imagine agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. Kaiju. That’s what KAIJU NO. 8 is for me. And I love it. Every damn episode keeps upping the stakes. I think that the Season 1 cliffhanger will be Kafka revealing his Kaiju side to Mina or the entire Defense Force.
So saw Water Skimmer called Cutwater in Manga but maybe just translation problem but in Manga Reno used Gelatin Rounds not Freeze Rounds, Im guessing Gelatin Rounds werent as necessary to plot and Reno and Freeze Rounds guess kind of do to an extent, Interesting choice but not big nuff changes to really matter much…
It was always freeze rounds. Maybe the translation was different
Freeze makes way more sense for....later reasons.

In manga Gelatin Rounds didnt look like Ice looked like they literally gooped the monsters lol, But yeah 100% Freeze rounds are lot more relevant to Reno in future so it makes sense regardless, Just like Shinomiyas foreshadowing with Traffic Sign Reno himself has his own foreshadowing with freeze rounds and it works together pretty well…
This just my opinion, but ngl i dont like kaiju no. 10's color scheme its too vibrant ig? In the manga no. 10 was colored close to black so i thought no. 10 would be dark purple or something i didnt expect a vibrant red
