If Cranbourne has any sense they should use Julian for all their future demos one of the beter Aussie demos I have seen concise and informative good job Julian
Cool pedal. I saw this video originally on the Dr.J site so I wasn't sure if you were affiliated with them and maybe could answer a couple of questions? I can only seem to find a genial description of this pedal but nothing too specific. I was wondering a couple of things please. Is this a true analog delay that uses a bucket brigade chip? Also would you know the milliseconds as far as max delay time? Thanks
Hello I want knowledge I have at the middle the piles of 9 volts he(it) does not work are that one and to oblige to put an adapter food(supply) 9 volts besides the pile(battery) thank you
Hello Michael Thomas I will tell you the delay does about 750 mls and as a I look all the videos made for this pedal NONE state how many mls the delay will do, absolutely no one has this information stated on their sites because the company never released that information,as far as I know. I did a comparison with digital roland sd3000 and found it to be 750 mls so now every one canl go back to their sites and put this info in. :) Chuck Kollatos @ Music Express Canada Dr.J distributor for Canada.
camfre4k There's a lot of talk out there about the actual differences, but from what we can gather in guitar stompbox land, they're the same thing. It seems the word 'echo' will often be used to describe more vintage sounding, analogue delay's that even sometimes have a little bit of reverb in with them (a lot of early tape machines were called 'echo' machines), where as delay is more often used to describe a more modern sounding digital delay.. But both are interchangeable. That's our opinion on the matter anyway. Hope that helps!
+camfre4k Basically they're the same thing. As cranbournemusic advise the term echo tends to be associated more with vintage analogue sounds. So there are countless excellent digital delay pedals out there and they can offer longer delay times than analogue and a cleaner sound on the echo repeats. Modern digital delays usually have different settings to replicate the sound of the vintage analogue pedals. As with everything digital you are getting a stepped representation of a real sound. The key thing with analogue is that the sound quality degrades with each subsequent echo repeat ... sonically this gives a nice natural sound. Think Pink Floyd and you're hearing nice analogue. I'm liking the sound of this pedal so much that I'm getting one to augment a digital delay with modelling, MIDI and all the bells & whistles. IMHO the sound comes first.
Sounds absolutely amazing

Such a cool pedal! How much do you guys have them for?
We can connect on an acoustic ampli on this effect pedal thank you
Please guys I need to know what's the name of the song from the beginning
Digital for sure. Shouldn't really matter - some of the most sought after delay pedals out there are digital units.
what makes you think it's digital?
I might be asking kind of dumb, but what is the difference between a delay pedal and a n echo pedal ?
