My birthday is in September and this is the first time I’ve been an ocean away from my parents and since Hawaii doesn’t really do Fall lol, I asked them to send me fall themed things. My mother legit sent me acorns and leaves from our back yard haha. September to me is always fall themed, it’s a BER month and so it gets to be included haha!

I am one to love a good witchy autumn romance, especially if it takes place in a cozy sleepy town! I have a favorite, it's called The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling and I read it every year during this season, the sequal to it is also really good and autumn-y. I have another witchy book series I really like called The Witches of Thistle Grove by Lana Harper and each book follows a different season.
I also completed my goodreads reading challenge of 60 books! last year it was 50. I'm excited to surpass it xD

My work week's been draining, but rewarding. As for movie recs, Crimson Peak. It's a Gothic ghost romance starring Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunham and directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The new Interview with the vampire series is phenomenal. I'd also suggest The Ghost Whisperer. Very similar vibes to Gilmore Girls, just a little darker.
