In this clip, Kid from Kid 'n Play opened up to VladTV about going on tour with NWA during the start of their careers. He explained that while many people wouldn't think that they had overlapping fans, Kid stated that groups like NWA and Public Enemy put them on tour to neutralize thoughts about it being a "gangsta rap" show. After confirming that TK Kirkland was also on the tour, Kid shared a story about being warned not to cuss in Cincinnati, adding that they had zero tolerance. When NWA started cursing during their show, Kid 'n Play and others started running to the bus to get out asap. To hear more, including Ice Cube poking fun of Kid 'n Play, hit the above clip.

Kid seems down to earth. Everybody I know who met him said he's very light hearted and conversational. I saw Play's punk a$$ in 1991 st the Black Expo in Atlanta. I stood in line to get an autograph and he snubbed me. I even remember him eating a box of cracker jacks. I was so excited then disappointed.

King of New York was Boyz N The Hood before Boyz N The Hood. That movie is so criminally slept on it is insane!!!
@@michaelnewton1332 I wouldn't call King Of New York a Boys in the Hood. I don't remember drugs in Boys in the Hood, plus pretty much everyone has seen Boys in the Hood. It's more like Carlitos Way which is kinda slept on too, or like Deep Cover, another slept on movie. Oddly enough Lawrence Fishburn is in 3 of those 4. I did like King of New York even though it was Kinda way to unrealistic.
