I love Lana, but I have to say. It's because Flo has a much wider range in sound. Lana does her alternative bluesy sound with classic back-drops and Flo is this festive gospel r&b mixed with classical and Indie alternatives.

Dan Loosemore As much as I love Lana, Florence has a legendary quality to her voice that can go into any genre. I'd imagine it is hard to get Lana to that upbeat tempo without it sounding extremely odd and 100% unlike her. This mix kind of over-altered Flo's voice for me, but.... y'know.

Bikki Gurung I have. I've listened to Jealous Girl and stuff like that. But that is as UPBEAT as it gets which isn't really singing? I'm a big Lana fan. I just don't think she can do it while sounding like herself.
I know she can do light and sweet, but it is never....how do I put this. She can do mellow and just kind of level? But never really...Up the tempo while still singing. She either does low and sultry or chacterized voices in an almost rap sing style that Ke$ha is known for?
But she is MOSTLY a low key artist anyway, so upbeat songs don't fit for a cabaret styling anyway.
