surprise that they change this scene. It was such a surprising moment when she let him die on purpose. I even remembrer the original name of this trophy: fatal grudge
@@HarryNinetyFouruhh no, she DID go to the door she just flat out refused to open it and just stared at him. mike then would come back and would see chris dead, but nobody ever questions her actions because nobody saw what she did there

@@HarryNinetyFour yeah I am not sure how you get that ending seems to be a lot of confusion about it online. Some people are saying you need everyone alive to get it others are saying Sam needs to be alive to get the police to search the mines.
@@HarryNinetyFouri got that ending when everyone lived! all you need to do is be remorseful at the end of the chapter 8 session with josh (they hurt me, i’m so sorry options) and continue to find the journal as sam and keeping her alive so she can tell the police to search the mines
@@HarryNinetyFour i’m not sure what causes that, i’ve seen people not getting the option but personally ive kept to my choices when it comes to dialogue. maybe it’s how you react to dr hill in previous chapters considering its the only time you “play” as josh? i also saw that it has something to do with finding all of the twins clues but i’m not 100%
There's so many changes to this remake I wish they didn't make. Wendigo sounds changed, soundtrack changed, Ashley hesitating. I get they wanted to make everyone seem a bit more sympathetic but I literally screamed when Ashley didn't save Chris because of what happened. Now it's like "Man, if only you were a little faster"
With her character, it's always about fear. She starts to panic very easily and acts irrationally. And that is the problem. So Ash is not a psychopath who wants revenge. The original showed this very poorly, so the player could have drawn the wrong conclusions. Ashley had to gain the determination to fight well herself and her fear. Chris, not only showed love by shooting himself or accepting death together. He showed her his courage and determination. And all of this combined led to a spark of determination and fight in her character - save Chris at all costs. Otherwise she is always consumed by fear whether it be Chris's death or other characters (For example, Em and the bite)
Please someone tell me, do I have to replay the whole game all over again just to get the trophy with keeping all alive as well as the ending where Matt and Jessica are the only ones alive? I really hope there is a faster way to achieve that…
I'm trying to get the just breathe achievement but it didn't give me the option to use it when matt was attacked by the wendigo in chapter 6, did they change how to do from the original?
Try this , the scene where emily says to matt that they need to go to the radio tower , tell her we must go back to the others ( disagree with her) then when you get the flare gun give it to matt then he wont shoot it in the air , then youll get the option to shoot the wendigo
Spoilers At the end of Chapter 8, there’s another Dr Hill session. Choose “They Hurt Me” and then “I’m So Sorry” dialogue choices. Then find Hannah’s diary as Sam to ensure Josh survives. This will get you Josh’s best outcome

What a name
60$ for slightly better visuals and 1m of extra content what a joke 😂
@@nexstbob6911 What does that have to do with this comment? lol
am i the only one who thinks ashley hesitating makes way more sense?
Yeah
It does make more sense, but I don't think many people see that it does for her character.
At least change the dialogue for Chris when Ash is hesitating. Chris could not see Ashley at the door
Okay, personally, I like this way more, her hesitating is way better than her just looking him dead in the eye and letting him die.
Did they change this scene? I remember in the original it was much more clear she didn’t let him in on purpose
Yes in original she doesn’t go to door at all, in this one she just hesitates and then goes

Will you be making trophy guides for the all the endings ? Particularly interested in the new trophy they added in for keeping the ‘spares alive’ ?

She still chose to let him die by initially turning her back to him. She wasn’t afraid or hesitant as she just pretended to want to save him

Yup. The end result is the same either way in both the original and remake due to Ashley

why can i not get this trophy, i tried every single option, but it isn’t working
Can you do it in chapter select or do you have to replay the entire game?
Chapter select if you start from 6 and then get to 8 in the same run

It depends, if you were quick enough saving Jessica you can play from Chapter 6

I’m not sure how to do it with Matt, but I had the option to always use it with Emily when she’s running away from them in the mine processing bit.

Any idea how to get the blackwood country trophy for the remake?
Just don’t kill any wildlife animals like the squirrel, the bird in chapter 1 and the deer in chapter 6.
Does anyone know how to get the “we need to talk about Josh” trophy?
