Emily: *head scratches*
Rex: What is this sorcery?!
“Infinity war was the most ambitious cross over ever”
Clint and Emily: “hold my reptile”
My favourite part of the video is how Emily thinks she needs 5 reptiles if she gets deserted on an island.
...same
That's why there are so many rad reptiles on islands. Once their owners died (as a result of not bringing anything practical), all that was left were their awesome reptiles. Fact.
Rex doing a death toll off screen and shaking the camera.
Emily, in mom mode, you’re fine.
Rex's teeth look close to normal now. It's great to see how healthy she looks now.
@@DasAntiNaziBroetchen she used to have really crooked and missing teeth and if you look at the older videos you can really tell how much better she looks.
14:41 clint lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw the baby false chameleon 😂
I love how Rex is just happy and "Yes, head scritches!" every time Emily provides them. She just loves those head pets.
now Im curious what are Ed's favorite reptiles are
I know what a couple would be, but I'd like to know what others would be on his list!
they both radiate this crazy friendly sciencist vibe, but each of them in their own way. definitely my two favorite reptile fans.
Many in the comments section are getting their macaw species confused. The hyacinth macaw is NOT the same as the indigo (Lear's) macaw, nor is it a blue (Spix's) macaw. Lear's and Spix's macaws are endangered and critically endangered, respectively. Hyacinth macaws are considered vulnerable in the wild, and are thankfully being bred in captivity at decent numbers.
This does not mean to dismiss the horrendous effect that the illegal animal trade has had on ALL of these species, but is for the sake of clarification. Hopefully captive breeding programs can help save and preserve all of these wonderful species.
That aside I always love seeing Snake Discovery and Clint's Reptiles collaborations. Excellent videos, please keep them coming! :)
yeah hyacinths are classified as cobalt macaws, indigo for the lears and blue for the spix's macaws.
I realized how much I love reptiles thanks to both of you.
So to see you collaborating is like the best thing I could possibly ask for.
That is one of the best comments ever! Thank you so much! That makes me so happy to hear!
Hognoses are so cute when they try to burry on solid ground!
Example: The wild coloration one at 3:50
Please never stop collaborating!
"Oh boy more!!" is absolutely the correct response to seeing more garter snakes on the way
I met Clint at the Wasatch Reptile Expo because my daughter is such a huge fan. Such a nice and passionate guy. He let my daughter hold a northern blue tongue and encouraged me to hold a snake to help overcome my fear. It was a great memory. I’m now bonding with my daughter with reptiles as we’re looking into getting a blue tongue skink of our own! Thank you!
It was Emily that really started me on my reptile journey (a completely batty Leopard Gecko, um thanks?... :), and thanks to Clint, I now have a wish list as long as my arm...and growing! Best collabs ever! x
I saw another video of his and I thought his excitement was sarcasm but he really is just that happy
I'm amazed at how much Rex's jaw has straightened! She looks so good. ^_^
Clint's calm composure when he just catches Rex and pets her calling her a good girl while Emily tried to figure out how to get her back on the table.
Emily convinced me to get garter snakes! I would 100% agree that they are rad.
Same. A garter snake for each member of the family, even! (Well maybe not that many yet)
This video might be the one to push me over the edge to get a bullsnake
The second I can, I’m going to get a hognose. I’d never even heard of them before you two, and now I’ve fallen in love with them. They’ve really grown on me thanks to you guys!
I love the bloopers portion! Great collab w Emily, Clint. You two are so comfortable together n it shows. Big fan of both channels!
Best youtube channel ever! I mean 9 views and 9 likes just speaks for itself you two rule
I love the genuine joy and excitement you guys have throughout this video. I'm so happy two of the best youtube reptile channels are working together in a wholesome way. Thank you!!
Aw yeah! My two favorite UA-camrs, once again rolled into one awesome package!
We love Emily and her channel! It is so great working with her, and we love recommending her content because she performs a great service to the reptile community.
haven't watched the full video but bet it'll be good
It's got Emily, how bad could it be?? Of course, last time I went to her house she fed me crickets...
24:35 - Emily casually watches and shouts advice as Ed wrestles a raging gater. Clint watches on in amazement.
Emily is awesome. Absolute doll that's intelligent and loves reptiles!!! What more could you ask for!?!?!
Also Cuban false chameleons have always been up there in my top favorite reptiles, love them so much, especially since theyre snail eaters which is so weird. Such amazing reptiles.
When Rex started escaping I lost it😂
Awesome thing to wake up and eat breakfast to at 8AM on a Saturday morning
Man, I sure do love seeing Cheyenne and Rex in these videos. They're my absolute favorite of Emily's animals she owns. She is such an amazing pet owner and animal mother. Her and Ed are both great parents to all of their scaly babies and their beautiful feathered friend, Cheyenne! Who needs children when you've got all of those wonderful and beautiful little creatures living in your home? 😍😍
If I wasn't super terrified and just plain petrified of snakes, I'd much rather have all of those wonderful reptiles as well, just like Ed and Emily have! Snakes are very misunderstood reptiles, and a lot of people are just as scared and afraid of them like I am, but they're actually very beautiful creatures and just need to be respected like any other kind of animal needs to be respected. They're also very underappreciated animals too. People just think that if they see a snake outside, that they're only interested in biting you and trying to hurt you. But they're just skittish animals out n the wild, and they're more afraid of us humans than we are of them... they dont know who we are or what our intentions are towards them, they just see us as very large predators intruding in their homes. So, I really enjoy seeing how much love and passion emily has for all of her snakes and reptiles in general! She definitely absolutely loves her reptiles and she treats them just like any other pet owner would treat their pet dogs or cats at home. I love seeing how much she loves those beautiful creatures.
Man, you guys are really selling me on hognoses. I'm definitely going to try to hold one at my next reptile show, the local shop just carries corns, boas, and ball pythons (other than many lizards and turtles). I remember seeing them at my first reptile show, but I didn't pay them a lot of attention because I really wanted to see all the ball python morphs I'd heard of in person, and see a tegu. And really there was a lot to see there! Even though it wasn't near as big as many of the shows you guys film at.
So many great crossover videos, I am spoiled!
OMG all the thumping of Rex in the outtakes lol.
The very end, I love it.
Clint is like a kid in a candy store, he is so enthusiastic all the time. Just shows how much he loves reptiles.
Coffee, and a video with Emily AND Clint? Perfect
"That's just how snail eaters do"
Is that a Zefrank reference?
I just wanted to say that I love all your enthusiasm for life, both yours and the life that you've surrounded yourself with. I'm very glad that you and Emily had this chance to meet up and both be hepatology nerds together and share the experience with us.
Omg this is so adorable two people geeking out about adorable animals
I looked and the hyacinth Macaw and immediately thought, “MineCraft bird!!!!”
Emily and Ed at Snake Discovery are what made me fall in love with bull snakes. I especially love their white sided bull snake. Absolutely gorgeous!! It's my new dream snake to have a white-sided bull snake.
I don’t have reptiles, in fact I’m a pet rat enthusiast, but you are both one of my always watched youtubers. Some of my channels I selectively watch the videos, but I always watch both of yours as soon as I see them!
You're awesome! And I totally get loving rats. They are absolutely incredible animals.
Omg,,, the way Rex presses her head up into Emily's pet's,,,, its so cute
Thank you for the Garter snake love! They are so aware! They can get calm, and they are so nice and lightweight to carry around.
Plus they will eat fish, mice and worms and are so fun to watch eat.
I had one, or more of my nana had a cocktail named patty from an egg till 2016 when patty passed away aged 21. She was our living door bell, she learned the sound of the Honda Civic we had, and being that I go to school she memorized the time I'd leave and when I return. Every day after school while barely at the gate you could hear her chirping. Every time we drove up you could hear her. In her last days she was spending more time facing the wall on the bottom of her cage, we assumed it was because she felt it was coming and didn't want us to see. She was the oldest pet we've ever had. I do miss hiw she'd greet us every day.
Garter snakes will always be my favorite reptiles. They are just so flipping cute!
Oh! Rex is a bonsai alligator!
I love your choices. I've had a Western Hognose and they are definitely my favorite snake. It's so wonderful what Emily has done for Rex. I remember her in older videos and she looks so much better. I think she represents that many reptiles should not be kept by your average reptile keeper. I think it's so wonderful that Emily was willing to provide a better environment for Rex and that she has the proper education in order to do so. Rex is an important ambassador animal to show the average person that this is a reptile that takes much more than what the average keeper is able to provide. Keep up the great work!
Rex was just basking in the adoration of you and Emily, of course she was going to behave. I've only just recently found your channel, thanks to the enclosure build off, and I'm really liking what I've seen of your videos.
Ed: "Good morning!"
Rex: HIIIISSSSSSSSS D:
😍😍😍 Mr. Wilson!!!!
I just realized that she’s wearing nearly headless nick’s shirt
You both have such infectious smiles whenever you talk about reptiles.
my two favorite reptile you tubers!
Omg Emily is sooo cute! I got to meet her briefly at the Tinley show Oct. 2019. So tall and beautiful. ;)
Ah, a well deserved perfect 200/0 like/dislike ratio.
Also, my two favourite reptile-tubers in one video.
Neat.
I know she’s married to Ed and I love Ed but they are soooooo cute! They have a great friendship energy! Like two reptile nerds spitting out facttsssssss for each other and our viewing pleasure!
I love that fish tank in the background! I like learning about reptiles, but I don't plan on owning any just yet. I do own fish though and I think the fishkeeping hobby and the reptile hobby appeal to a lot of the same kind of people.
Lol I love when Rex gets grumpy 😂 so cute
maybe next video is head to head between rex and gusgus to see which one is more rad
I'm loving the collab videos you two, great start to my day!
Welcome to the best Clint's Reptiles video to ever be.
That might actually be true. Emily certainly adds a lot to a video, as does Rex, and this one has the best quality of any video we've ever made with her.
She really has great taste in her reptiles I am going to have to try one of those false chameleons! Thanks for sharing!
Our bullsnake Billy is my "cleanup crew" at work. Cornsnakes are good for that purpose too.
I'm really glad you did this! It's so cool that you guys are friends. I really love the crossover content and getting to hear from both of you about the reptiles you like the best is really fun! I really love how positive and educational both of your channels are, it's really helped me out.
But I DID notice that there weren't as many rad puns in this one. XD
Love all of your videos! Ive been watching you guys for a while. I actually found you guys through emily. Have a great day!
Clint I love what you do keep up the good work
I have learned so much from both you and Emily, I have you used information from both you to get some of my pets! Keep up the good work!
These colab videos between my two absolute favourite channels are just RAD!
That is all I can say...
22:48 Rex: Oh, da headscratch!
When is bearded dragon vs leopard gecko. My family is torn between the two and can't decide for the life of them. Please make one so my family can agree on one of them. That would be stinkin rad
I always enjoy your videos. Both Clint's reptiles and snake discovery are fantastic channels! Love the collaborative videos that you and Emily do together!
We have bull snakes here but they are also referred to as gopher snakes so we (maybe incorrectly) interchange them. I did find this: The bullsnake (Pituophis catenifer sayi) is a large, nonvenomous, colubrid . It is currently considered a subspecies of the (Pituophis catenifer). The bullsnake is one of the largest/longest of North America and the United States, reaching lengths up to 8 ft.
Bull snakes act just like giant corn snakes and I love it!
Looks like you guys had fun making this video keep up the good work guys!
I’m so glad Clint is over 100k! One of my fave channels. Hoping you get to a million soon!
I love these collabs!
Those hognose snakes are soooo freaking cute!!!! Ahhhhh!!!! I wish I could have one...but I don’t like touching dead things and well, you have to feed your snake...
You both are my absolute favorite people to watch! So informative and knowledgeable. Keep you being awesome you guys!
You just can't make a bad video can you 😂.
If I put my mind to it I think I could come up with something abismal, but I'll try to avoid it. Thank you so much!
Woohoo! Love the collab. guys. This was awesome, much appreciated.
My kids love watching both your channels, keep up the good work!
Great fun video! I love both of you!
i am so happy you included the western hognose snake because they are my favorite snake mostly because of how unique their adaptations are and how unique their behaviors are
Another Awesome Animal Educational VID! Great Job
6:05 Beautiful and stunning scales. Bullsnake.
I just noticed that Clint wears a CTR ring. I lost all of mine, so I should probably start wearing CTR rings again. I think it's been like 5 years since I've worn one. Clint is so much better than me.
You guys are my favorite!!! Because of you both I got my first Hognose male yesterday!
OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER! MY 2 FAVORITE YOU TUBERS OF ALL TIME DID A VIDEO TOGETHER!
Aye Colorado gang! I’ve never seen a hog nose either out here but I feel honored that you used to live here
Emily trying to rock the Hi there ! You keep on tryin Emily 🤣 And I feel betrayed we’re is Edd 😥
More collabs??? -Awesome- stinkin' rad!!
This is the week for colabs! This isn't the only one coming out today. I will be in a video from Dāv Kaufman as well, so make sure you're subscribed over there as well.
The false chameleon looks like the bull terrier of chameleons
If you're bothered by the fact that Emily included a parrot on her list of her favorite pet reptiles, then this video will either make you feel better or much, much more upset...
ua-cam.com/video/-yC99nXth0I/v-deo.html
Clint: "Whats your favorite reptile?"
Me: "Chiken"
Not going to argue with the accuracy, but is it useful for us to describe birds as reptiles?
There's several things that technically belong to one group or another but, in everyday conversations the distinction is meaningless. For example things we call "Fish" are so different that to have a biological classification of fish, we might aswell include humans. But everyone understand what a fish is.
Vegetable is a meaningless term as far as classification goes, everything we call vegetables have different classifications, tomatoes for example. Is a fruit, but you don't put tomatoes in a fruit salad.
So yes, it's technically correct to include birds as reptiles, but it's not useful in how we communicate
Wait... That's not a Feathered Snake?
Clint's Reptiles I can understand bout birds cuz there included in the dinosaurs list so naturally they’d be considered in reptiles Species. Lol poor Clint he wanted to play with the bird
Thanks.. I finally learned something new about hogs ... the 'scent' of poison as part of defense!.. must know more!
