But Messi did miss a penalty kick this year which cost them to lose the final again. Maradona lead Argentina to the World Cup bc he was the best. I'm pretty sure you haven't seen the highlights of maradona vs Germany, he made the assist that won Argentina the World Cup

Also, I have seen Maradona vs Germany. And yes, he did make the assist. But, Burruchaga scored. Higuain has had many similar one-on-one situations over the years, and has missed all of them. My point is that Maradona won that World Cup because he had strikers who could convert the chances he created. Messi doesn't have that luxury.
