- Here's what a typical weekend (day in the life) of a medical student looks like. What you might notice is that my weekends are not very different from my weekdays in medical school / university, obv apart from not having lectures and placement. This is because I try to avoid differentiating between weekends and weekdays, I find this better for consistency. Over this day, I go to the British library, play some squash, have some meetings and show you what our clinical skills room looks like at SGUL.

So I live at home, so don't have to pay for accommodation. I had a job for about 4 years just for extra income, but i left that this summer
