Pecky travels to the River Seine for a week long trip on a 15 kilometer stretch of wild, largely untouched French river.
With no prior knowledge and going on little information Pecky is going in blind, only armed with his technical ability and years of experience aiding him in attempting to locate the carp.
The adventure doesn’t exactly start off the right way, with nuisance fish and lots of huge barges getting in the way.
After hours of painstaking searching the 15km stretch, a handful of carp are found at the very farthest point to which Pecky can travel. Upon carefully placing his hookbait on a clear spot it takes a matter of minutes for a bite to come.

I used to fish that area a fair bit back in the 1990s and the advice about finding a good spot then bait and wait is how we used to fish it!
the only difference is there was a lot more carp in the river back then before the pay lake fish nickers arrived and like most french rivers there is loads of catfish in there now!
looks like a fun adventure. ill have to plan a multi day carp trip this sumnmer
