One of those essential tasks you don't mind paying heartly for! A very good How To well explained well....but dare I say it....outside the scope of the erstwhile DIY chap....best left to these experts!
Liners and patching are 2 different things mate. I’m a 21 year deep drainage engineer myself and actually specialise in groundwork and patching and lining.
The video is so pro! great job on it and the project itself - very informative. We're having a similar issue in California with a near impossible-to-replace 1920s clay sewer issue. Thanks for posting this.
did you make the air bladder? looked for one online and can't find one, my place in West Virginia has these terra cotta pipes buried in the concrete floor, this could be very helpful, alternative is to jack hammer up the floors and not wanting to do that, I do get sewer smell in the basement and would like to make that go away
Nice work man. I'm over here in Cleveland Ohio in the states. I had a company come out and quote me $14,000 to do that from my main out in the street to my clean out in my house basement.. I laughed at him tell him to get the f*** out of my yard...
I appreciate the information mate. This will help me in deciding what to do with my clay sewer hole. I am curious what is the cost for a job like this to be finished?
south west water wants to dig up my patio to repair partially collapsed sewer & told me no way they can repair without excavating my patio & for same pipe style in your video.
Yes, CIPP (cured in place pipe) repairs with a combo fiberglass/silicate resin are engineered to last half a century which better than the typically pipe replacement
Great video! Detailed descriptions of processes. Thank you

Pipe Relining Patch Kits
Cooking oil on your packer helps the patch slip off also cling film much better then the bags mate
Why didn’t you do a plug in patch long enough to cover both the joints, start of pvc and end of pvc.
