@@mbk8488it’s a satellite meaning 1st 2nd 3rd all get the exact same prize, meaning when everyone has similar stack sizes and someone jams all in blind v blind its very hard to call without a very strong hand as you can be last place with 1 chip but if someone is all in on that hand and bubbles then you with your 1 chip gets the same prize as the other 2 players (tickets typically). Meaning that the person who jams will have very high fold equity and the mid stacks are highly incentivized to fold out to the money while if there is a big stack they can jam near full range against a mid stack blind v blind. All in all meaning there are some hands that crush AT, a lot of hands that are flipping with AT, and a lot of hands that we have an edge, but it’s rarely worth bubbling. He’s also covered by 2x, and doubling up your chips does not necessarily mean you get double the expected money, as per icm theory, your last chip in a tournament is worth a lot more than the next chips. You could get more detailed results with an icm calculator. Jamming 93 is purely just taking advantage of icm and the sheer amount of fold equity, but the big blind woke up with AQcc so for 5 blinds it was an easy call for him.
@@mbk8488 some ICM stuff. The correct strategy is to call very tightly and consequently shove lightly. If you know that your opponents don’t know about ICM you adapt. I have no clue whether his plays were accurate, but that’s the strategy behind it.
@mbk8488 because it's a satellite and everyone is so close to getting paid, their stacks are worth close to the value of the payout... if you call all in, you can't win more than the payout, so if you double up you are not really doubling the value of your stack, but if you call all in and lose you are losing close to 100% of the value of the ticket.. when your stack is big enough you should fold every hand until someone busts... hope this makes sense
Satty fold range is more than call range because of icm. So his shove is right. Is nearly fold any have when bubble on satty so you can shove any hand. Even call aces bubble satty is -EV
“Poker is a game of skill”
lol folding AT and then jamming 93 is something I wouldn't have been able to comprehend when I first started poker
I don’t play too much. Why would he do that?

It’s satty strategy
PP where you have to fold AA to 6 way all ins
It has to be a sattelite tournament (problably a good idea to point that out) 😂
How do you fold AT there
Satty fold range is more than call range because of icm. So his shove is right. Is nearly fold any have when bubble on satty so you can shove any hand. Even call aces bubble satty is -EV
You end up playing bad call that ace ten you play poker backwards
Got lucky
That’s ssttys for ya
You still doing this?
