As a retired EMT and volunteer firefighter, of 38 years, in California...my advice is don't put a stretcher of any type on the Can Am. Let the professionals, that are trained to move a patient, provide the equipment. LIABILITY, LIABILITY, LIABILITY!!!

I worked on ambulance for 15 years. We had a whole bunch of custom golf carts made to have a stretcher on it. I agree.
Please like Jake's comment so they see it. I'm sure they just didn't think it through, but it's much better to get trained professionals to do it on their own equipment so they don't have to transfer them a second time for transport. Signing a waiver when you enter the property doesn't prevent a lawsuit, especially if they can claim negligence to provide proper rescue personnel
Theme parks, NFL and many drag strips etc all use golf carts to carry injured people to an ambulance.

I just want to point out that Cleetus and the crew dont just sit around and watch other people do the work. They help out when they can and they help them quite a bit all the time. It shows that he isnt buying the track just for the publicity,hes doing it to make it a better track because he truly loves racing,and that is why Cleetus,Cooper,James,and everyone involved in making the freedom factory fly again are the best people on earth. I wish I could help them out,every one of these videos i see just makes me want to drive down there and help them do whatever they need help doing. They're such great people.
The problem with helping, is it's rarely help. He gets to do it because it's on UA-cam, normally it's not allowed because it slows things down and it creates massive liability issues. If someone not on the contractors insurance makes a mistake and gets someone on the crew hurt the court case would still be going in 2030.

You should hire a ambulance for any events you do, have the professionals handle bodily injuries. In the 6x6 I would put a large water tank with a motorized Honda pump with hoses on a reel. Some fire extinguisher some jack air bags, windows breaks seatbelt cutters.

Just as a general rule, y’all should broom any concrete surface like this that is gonna be exposed to the elements because it will help to provide traction when it’s wet. I’ve worked in concrete for years and watch many people fall on slick concrete

Let me tell you Cletus, I’ve done a lot of maintenance and repair for a lot of businesses and not one owner that I’ve worked with has put in so much effort and work into remodeling their business as you have. It really shows just how much you care about your facility and the people that work for you. Hell yeah brother!

Cleetus, you should look into a drop in skid unit for fire and rescue. They are not crazy expensive and you can have a small water tank with a pump on it, along with a place for a back board and spot for an EMT or medic to sit while they do patient care. We have one for our UTV and its extremely handy. Also you can remove them easily and still be able to use it as a maintenance UTV that way.

They don't have the Electric turbos anymore. They were returned because they were only on loan. Ruby's old turbo on the other hand!!
Hey guys been watching the FREEDOM FACTORY and just wanted to say its AMAZING keep up the good work ,I run a Racetrack in Cyprus and I would advise you put correct fire extinguishers , fordable stretcher cloth its light but i don't advise it cause LIABILITY , tow line with a hook , saw dust for oil spills or equivalent, 2 uv jackets that live in the bed, gloves , 1/2 leaf blowers to clear debry from track and some sweeping brushes, small first aid box , jumper cables or better a booster box , safety gear for staff fire retardant clothing,window breakers seatbelt cutters, red,yellow and green flags any others you use at the Factory . and any other bits you guys can think of . Hope this helps you out . Will definitely be visiting your track when we come to the States .

But he needs to have someone that knows what they are doing to help him, that concrete won’t last, especially the one for the water tank, it needs steel and it was way way too wet of a mix, it will fall apart, crack and just plain need to be replaced in 2 years, waste of time and money

@@BlueCollarBachelor The trans is a manual, it will not physically bolt up to the V8. Also, I don't see how it makes any sense to drop as much money as the truck is worth on an ECU when you can get a harness and computer from a junkyard for $100.

There is no "all is said and done" with a huge project like this. I like that they're not skimping on quality workmanship and products.

If you look up the auction, it was purchased for 2.2 million. With the new burnout pad, with everything he's done, and with things like bleachers to fix I wouldn't be surprised if It gets around 3.5-4 million once everything is good to go. He did just buy 25 crown vics and a new C8, and this new Defender so I'm guessing he's doing okay. It helps when everything he purchases is a business expense lol
this video: $586 dollars for 3.5 cubic yards. 586 / 3.5 = $167 dollars per cubic foot. stated that this is same fiber cement used in burnout pad. can someone do the math / history on depth of burnout pad? square footage was 44,000 feet but i cant find the depth.
Again pouring the new slab for the tank and Cleetus got a 2×4 leveling concrete. Hands on with every project being done. As a owner/operator he will know every square inch of the facility and how it works. Much respect for that
Is that Baldor motors and gearboxes on the new water system? If so could you look at the nameplates on the gearboxes and see what they say? I work at the plant that builds though and might have actually built those gearboxes!!

With our side by side at the dragstrip I work at, we have the short bed, but we have a tank strapped to the bed with fire supression liquid in it connected to an external pump with the switch on the seat. We also keep a jack, dollies, tow straps, fire-resistant gloves, a Purple K exitnguisher, and a stretcher on the side of the bed. Basically everything we need in an emergency, or to pick up pieces and clean up messes on the track
It has been a honor watching this come together. You guys didn't just buy a track you bought a dream . Keep living the life it has been a great ride to watch.

Look into a "cycle stop valve", so the well pump will last longer.
I assume the standard operation would have the pump fill the tank and it would shut off with a float switch in the tank. the tank feeds the two pumps that will supply pressure to the entire facility and those are controlled by the pressure valves on the ballast tank. the well pump will only cycle back on once the tank level drops by several hundred gallons and the supply pumps will cycle as needed depending on demand
The pump at the FF will not cycle as much as you think, I am sure there will be a float installed in the tank that when it becomes 500 gallons low it will run the pump for an hour if rated at 10 gallons a min.
What will cycle the most is the feed pumps, The 2 pumps you see on the ground, Those are what will feed water to the areas.
Cycle stop valves only kill pumps do it right and use a vfd
A simple on and off float switch staged at right height on the supply pipe to the tank would work perfect. Like someone above said, cycle on when level drops 500 gallons or whatever level is set, cycle off when level reaches full, all by float switches. KISS
I can't trust a website that is done entirely in Comic Sans. They probably have an alternating relay on those pumps, and the dual pressure switches are for running both pumps when there is high demand. It's a good enough system.

@LUCAS KELLY He was just talking without thinking it through very much, a stiff wind and that tank will be up against one of the fence lines, intact if lucky, broken if unlucky. I've seen my fair share of empty water tanks impaled on fence posts here in Australia. It's a costly mistake to not have them held down or tied to something heavy or solid.
So cool with the new Can am! :) So fun to see what you are creating with the Freedom factory. I also miss the wrenching video with every step, even if I`ve seen it done many times before by you and your friends. It`s just fun to watch you fixing, upgradring etc the cars. Not just see the parts and skip the process mounting it all. I always love the process and not just the result.
Could you possibly refer to your local med staff and possibly work with them in talks about building and operating your rig? I would imagine however, that it would have to be a dedicated med rig. I know growing up racing at a track they always had a quad that an EMT ride out to help riders who crashed and later on they got kit -ed out mules. I would love to see you guys with professional and capable med staff on site for events. It really does allow everyone to feel more comfortable and have confidence in your management. I love the progress the Freedom Factory has been making one step at a time and keep up the good work Cleetur!
Everyone has a plumbus in their home. First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches.
They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all the fleeb juice.
Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it and spits on it.
They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way.
The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the plubis, and grumbo are shaved away.
That leaves you with a regular old plumbus

The bags of fiber aren't gigantic. If memory serves me correctly from my concrete days-it was one bag per 3 yards of concrete. It was 3.5 yds on this job-probably only one bag worth. The problem with ready mix is you can't chuck an entire bag worth in one shot-you'll just have a huge wad of fiber "mess". There's no drum for mixing...
It's 1-1.5 lbs of fiber mesh per cubic yrd.

You could set it up like the one we have on our fire department. There is a 55 gallon water tank on the back with a small gas-powered pump and reel hose and then a dry chemical 30 lb extinguisher strapped next to that in addition to a elevated stretcher board. Then we also have additional equipment on a luggage rack on top of our Can-Am. Also don't forget about all the cool flashing lights you can put all over it.
