@TheInkTank I'm not mad at the idea but I thought of two different scenarios 1 for a perk it's ultimate time(name in works) where you have the ultimatrix instead and with it your omni Meter has two meter fills and if you fill it up twice you can go echo echo and immediately go ultimate echo echo and if anything you gain more meter as pre echo echo or more with the perk to maintain ultimate form and once your ultimate it might drain a little faster but you end up with a ultimate powerhouse, the next one would be swampfire cause come on we love swampfire, where he can throw seeds on the ground and if the opponent steps on them he gets a free combo setup which is Great for the team synergy and solo, and he can have ranged fire attacks as well as being able to go ultimate swampfire which enhances your moves while ultimate echo echo has slight moveset change
Honestly, I think Ben could help revive MVS for a bit. And realistically Ben could bring a lot of fans to MVS especially since the Ben 10 community isn't dead but on the rise. And Ben would be a very unique concept and (depending it's WB is up for it) we could see new aliens each season with him moving around each of the 4 categories.
This would be really cool, but I don't think MVS devs would want to commit to a character that hard. Though it'd be a really interesting take on "balancing". Like straight up changing his aliens to balance instead of just messing with numbers.
@@vullord666 yeah that why I included if WB is able to. I feel like it seem like a dream and amazing idea but like you mention it will take a lot of time just for one character. But honestly if we did get Ben and the idea of him changing his alien selection every season, it will be a beneficial idea.
Or mabey cause of instances of Jake and his space child costume mabey we could get like classic Ben as the base and teen versions would be alternate outfits this switching aliens you could still give classic Ben a galactic enforcer costume to justify a new set of classic aliens
I think the problem is ppl have expectations that games can just get better overnight cyberpunk took 3 yrs to become playable and frankly “good” Brawlhalla took yrs to find it’s base and Smash has no competition because it doesn’t have other platformers on switch and it’s only on switch
Seeing myself on both the Patreon and UA-cam memberships lists is amusing to me. Lol. I managed to caught my name appearing in both in the same frame, let's go.
@@TheInkTank, gotta make up for the almost 6 years of not being able to support y'all outside watching the videos endlessly. Although, I was surprised at the lack of verbal shout-out from Tier 4 but seeing myself on both was amusing enough that it made up for it.
I think Ben can have a "Randomizer Function" where he would transform into different aliens for different attacks. For example, when using a punch attack he can transform into aliens like Fourarms, Humungousaur, or Rath and his damage and knock back would change at random, or they can rotate like Fourarms first then a stronger punch with Humungousaur, forcing the opponent to note Ben's last transformation. Focusing on this logic, when performing a ranged attack he can transform into Heatblast for a basic attack but on the second attack, he would transform into Echo Echo who would have a limited range but his soundwave attack would have a massive knock back.
Id like to see him switching between Diamond Head, Swampfire, Feedback and if the reboot series is included, maybe reboot Fourarms, but there's too many possibilities to exclude characters. If we use ultimate alien instead of reboot, Humongasaur would be a better option, especially with using ultimates as a special mechanic.
Then each form could maybe represent a different class. In which case, I’d personally go with: Heatblast as a bruiser (I always imagined him playing like Ken from Street Fighter: fire ball, fire uppercut, and his comet to replace a Tatsumaki), Big Chill as an assassin, Water Hazard as a mage, Gravattack as a tank, and if we want a reboot alien, maybe Shockrock as a support? I haven’t seen the reboot, but his power set seems like it could work for that role, creating energy constructs to protect or power up his allies.
The four aliens I would have chosen for Ben would be Heatblast, Humongousaur, Feedback & Shock Rock. Four iconic aliens from each iteration of the franchise.
I think there is one or two ways to go about adding more aliens. 1. Have more skins of Ben from different eras with unique aliens. Like, Classic could have Ditto, Heatblast, and Stinkfly, with Diamondhead as Martial arts, and maybe Alien Force could have Echo Echo, Chromastone, Jetray, and Humungosaur for martial arts. Or, the moveset could be expanded to 5 aliens, and the player can replace each alien slot with another skin that has a similar power, but does it a tad differently. Echo Echo would only have Ditto, but Feedback's slot has a multitude of rangerd aliens. Maybe a hybridization of these two with the one in the video could work.
I think with how varied his aliens are, I imagine the most straightforward, but not necessarily the easiest way for Ben to be implemented in Multiversus is through giving him play on the omnnitrix' randomizer function. If there are only a set number of status effects, each time you'd go for either a ranged attack or melee attack, you are making that attack but any effect it would implement would be randomized and so would Ben's transformations with each transformation essentially being skins of either an electric alien, like swapping between feedback and ampfibian or swapping brawlers like rath for four arms. It's nigh impossible to implement every ability of every alien but each of them does one similar thing if you boil them down to it. At least by boiling down similar aliens to its base components (i.e. casting projectiles, hitting hard, etc), you'd be able to weed out the unique ones like pesky dust, toepick or ghostfreak to have distinct abilities. More than anything, it would be an animation and modelling nightmare but fuck you baltimore, WB has the money. Splurge or die ya shmucks
@@TheInkTank Good improvement!! Really felt more clear and concise too. With what we know now too it just feels fleshed out correctly. You all did an amazing job!!! ::D
i genuinely love the idea you have, but here is where i would come in to fix some stuff to be more easier and accessible. - keep the base moveset you have, but have your double jump transform you if you have a certain amount of energy. like splatoon. -be able to upgrade attacks in general if have a certain amount of energy. maybe by charging up the attack. for example like instead of the hoverboard, you become weevil or becoming jet ray when using your special jump. mostly making the player think about if to spend energy for a stronger attack, or save energy for a stronger overall moveset. - keep to 3 transformations. each one representing a series, and have a different play style. that being more evasive, support, defensive attack type. my personal candidates are xlr8 (classic series), echo echo (alien force/ultimate alien), bloxx (omniverse). though this can change. mainly the three main transformations and the base transformation attacks all adding up to 10 aliens. down side to ben is him both being very hard to master and being very easy to read and counter. for costumes, i can see ben’s alt universe selves being costumes. mainly ben 23, albedo, and mad max ben. all you just need to do is color swap the alien textures.
Oh it's out I saw the community post not that long ago, i was really hyped for the video. Im really big into multiversus rn, like top 20 Rick and id switch mains in a heartbeat
1.There are 5 classes:Bruiser,Tank,Mage, Assassin AND Support. The Supporting class characters like Steven universe, reindog and Gizmo have movesset with weak hits and useful abilities for team ups. 2.A good way to do Ben 10 is to do various Aliens as different characters. They start the match as the Alien and continue to be the Alien until the end of the round where if we win,the Alien will have a special animation. If we loose, the same animation plays for all the he Alien characters, which is detransforming back into Ben as he sulks. Example of Alien character: Cannonball->Support class.Weak punches but powerful slam attacks. The main ability is Battering Dash.l: Cannonball rolls into a Ball and charges up (like sonic the hedgehog) and then releases to dash forward and hit enemies. Pin Cannonball hit:in the state of preparing a Battering dash, teammates can hit you to launch you in the direction their aiming at. The more you hold the dash button the more your gonna be in the ball state and the more youll bounce of the walls. Turnback Shell: If Cannonball is hit in the front size of the body, the damage is double,if he's hit in the back shell,he takes no damage. Turnback shell Deflect: Cannonball can deflect a projectile back to the one who trew it by then turning his back on it.
I like the concept, the only issue I have with it is that I don’t think they would not include any of the classic ailens apart of the base move set. Besides being iconic, a lot of characters in multiverses use items and weapons from early seasons/comics, while future designs are saved for skins. Finn is a perfect example of this, as Finn uses his original golden sword instead of the grass sword, his rapier or even his end game demon sword. Instead of these weapon improving his move set, they are saved for skins. In a similar way I believe they will heavily feature Ben’s classic ailens in his base moveset, and future skins could potentially allow for different ailens to show up.
I feel there should be more consideration for iconic aliens Like Astrodactyl’s inclusion is neat but how many fans care about Astrodactyl over other flying aliens like Big Chill or Stinkfly? Heck none of the base selectable aliens are from classic which is a travesty
I really like all these concepts for moves and power ups integrating the hoverboard and plumber weapons and the choices for aliens nicely represent all the series & Bens characters I’m also glad Astrodactyl gets some love. U guys also used Skurd in such a creative way. This makes me even more excited for A game like this with Ben.
I also think it’s important to include aliens from each era of the main continuity in a potential moveset. That way the character’s whole history feels acknowledged.
Something else you could do to add aliens to his moveset, have him turn to XLR8 or Fasttrack when he dodges to the side, Jetray or Astrodactyl when he dodges upwards, and Ghostfreak when he neutral dodges. Idk who you could use for a downward dodge, maybe Goop?
I like to imagine Ben as a Bruiser but having 4 available alien transformations based on each class. Neutral Special opens the Omnitrix dial and lets you transform into an alien based on which direction you input. After transformed, Ben stays as an Alien for a certain duration (you can also use neutral specialto transform back to Ben). Once the timer runs out, you're forced back into Ben and need to wait for a cooldown to transform into another alien The idea behind this being that as a Ben player, you have 4 playtyle options and you have to pick and commit to one of them during a match. Do think it'd be good to have a Master Control perk that allows you to transform intoother aliens whenever, but that also causes the Omnitrix timer to run out faster My picks for each class would be Diamondhead as Tank, Heatblast as Mage, either Big Chill or XLR8 as Assassin and Rath as Bruiser
I could see him being this game's answer to a kirby type character. His Aliens could come from him doing a "scanning" move, and either selecting the best alien for the job or changing into the same species as the other character if they're nonhuman (although this would be. A pain in the ass to implement) Realistically they'd probably do something closer to your interpretation, but with much less focus on ben, similar to pokemon trainer. The aliens they'd choose would most likely be iconic fan favorites rather than the best choice for the game's mechanics. We know for sure heatblast is gonna be there, and maybe diamondhead, but who knows how many other aliens they'll even use, let alone which ones.
Thought about this concept a lot, there's so much ben can do as a character and generally i see there probably being two camps for this. One camp is him changing into aliens on the fly for specific moves which would fit game balance well but in my opinion doesnt quite hit that niche for me admittedly on how ben would play, no, the way i see it i would go balls to the wall with designing him to quite literally have 10 full movesets for him, 10 entirely unique aliens that have their own strengths and weaknesses and play styles. I know itd be frustrating to fight but genuinely i feel like having him do exactly as he would in the source material would make for better representation of ben 10. Full on dial in the bottom near his icon that lets you change the alien by tapping down and special. I'd rather it be akin to something like shulk's arts in smash ultimate as a ring around ben that lets you input the desired alien. Give them a 15-30 second time limit and there you go, now it sounds like a pain to fight and genuinely a hassle for the devs but that, to me, is the only way to give ben the best representation possible even if it sounds entirely unreasonably complex
There is an incredible mod for Rival of Aether that puts in Ben. With all of his moves turning him into a different alien (from the 2005 series). He’d be MVS’s first stance fighter. With three different forms. With some moves mimicking other fighters in the roster. Stance 1: Classic, would have the similar playstyle to his version from RoA, using everyone from Heatblast-to-Ditto. (Plus Feedback and Clockwork.) Stance 2: Ultimate, would use the roster from Swampfire-to-Jury Rigg. Stance 3: Omni, would use the roster from Bloxx-to-Whampire. And if MVS implemented Final Smash style attacks, (I’d call “Grand Finales”) Ben would have a different Finale for each stance. Classic: A reticle-guided beam from Way Big. Ultimate: A large supernova from Alien-X. Omni: A mushroom cloud from Atomix.
While i like the idea, i think you could go a step further and have the player select on the character screen which class to be when you choose Ben, and then have different aliens for each class. That way it incorporates a lot of aliens without being OP because as soon as you use one, your opponent knows which loadout you are and you dont habe access to all of them at once. Sort of like the Mortal Kombat X fighting styles. Each class could have a classic and newer alien. Assassin could be XLR8 and Chamalien Mage can be Feedback and Heatblast Bruiser can be Fourarms and Rath Tank can be Diamond Head and The Worst or Gravattack. Then double jumping gives astrodactyl or stinkfly
Here my way of doing it. Bens class will be all of them. Bruiser, assassin, mage, and tank. I like the idea of omnitrix meter where you keep attacking your opponent and fill up the meter. And to turn into the aliens, I thought it would suit more as a shaggy neutral special. Just hold the button until you transform. And when the opponent tries to interrupt the transformation but fails, the omnitrix self defense mechanism makes it so that the green light stuns them for a whole second. And like you said, you can stay as an alien for 30 seconds. And the more attacks you do and even if don’t land them, you use up your watch meter. There’s going to be 3-5 aliens you can turn into. And each alien fits into one class. And it’s completely randomised but you can’t turn into the same one twice until the whole list is over.
I imagine Ben would play very similarly to how he did in CN: Punch Time Explosion which was a Cartoon Network platform fighter (apparently it was used a basis for when PFG were designing Samurai Jack as he has a few moves pulled from his appearance there). It actually had two versions of Ben, his default was his Alien Force design with the OG version being a secret unlockable. Personally speaking I hope they go for the original Ben design and his aliens, I had a lot of memories with the original show as I'm sure many others have.
I like the concept here, though honestly - hear me out - I think a fusion of this concept and mine would be great. The Omni Energy meter is a great mechanic, and I love the hoverboard idea! And I'm glad you agree that Ben warrants a special class haha. I just don't think you can do Ben's base kit without at minimum three fully playable transformations tho! Maybe grab one from each era - classic, Omniverse, and Alien Force/Ultimate Alien?
I think he's getting there eventually. It's just a matter of time by now. As for what class of character Ben 10 would be, I suggest that he's not stuck to a single type; Ben 10's whole thing is that he can transform, so I would make a moveset around his multiple forms or at least 4 of them: one that makes him a bruiser, one that makes him stronger and heavier like a tank, one for faster movement more in line with the Assassin class and a Mage form with more options for long range attacks. Switching from a basic human form that barely belongs in any fighting class to any other transformation would be his gameplay quirk
While MultiVerus isn't my type of game, I do find discussions about game design quite interesting. If this is somewhat of an expertise for you, Hurshie, I'd love to see more videos like this! Personally, I'm in favor of remastering and updating the old games to be playable on the newest generation of consoles and Steam, while also making necessary changes that might've made playing the originals less fun. Doing this may also buy some time for interested developers to come up with an entirely new game.
Hello Raven! Multiversus's greatest appeal is the game design in my opinion. I think if more people gave it a chance, they'd appreciate the character move sets and interactions that Player First team has created. I think you're idea of a remaster of sorts is a perfect idea for the franchise right now. A remaster collection of all games in the series or even a completely new game that's the whole story like the Naruto: Ninja Storm series.
Tbh I really hope Ben gets added one day, would love to play as him, personally I would have chosen heatblast over jetray as heatblast is more popular, I know people would prefer jetray too though, tbh no matter how many aliens they add, there's no way to add everyone's favourite sadly. Tbh your ideas for perks is great, if they added perks that allow you to change which aliens you can access both the jumping aliens aswell as the Omnitrix meter aliens, that would basically make Ben a character, they can keep adding to almost infinitely, personally my choices would, add the already mentioned four arms perk, add diamondhead as one of the transformable aliens, he has plenty of ranged attacks, and add a perk that makes your flying alien heatblast, maybe an XLR8 perk could be, that you'll transform into him once you've run for 5 seconds without jumping, tbh I think the reason why he hasn't been added yet is he's a tricky character to get right in terms of gameplay
I think if Ben was in MVS he should have 1 alien for each series from the classic timeline Example - Heatblast, Jetray, Feedback and Armodrillo And maybe make it so when he transforms he stays that way until he gets knocked out and then has to refill the meter (I haven't played MVS so I'm not sure if this is balanced)
What I would do takes inspiration from Pokémon Trainer from smash. Make him his own unique class: Hybrid (others have also suggested this) and use a different alien with their own moveset to represent each class, but I also chose aliens to represent each of the 4 shows from the classic timeline. The mage would be Heatblast. The bruiser would be Rath. The tank would be Ultimate Humungasaur (I am aware that wouldn’t make sense lore wise, but this game also has shark hat versions of all the characters worshiping a giant reindeer-dog in a shark onesie. Suspend your disbelief a little.) The assassin would be Feedback. You would switch between them with down special, and holding down the button would have a menu pop up to select which one you want. Something they could do for an event is create Ben transformation skins for characters in the game who are aliens: Superman, Marvin, Garnett, and star child Jake.
I wouldn't be surprised though if they did wanted to try to include 10 aliens with Ben as his official moveset, which as a fellow dev despite being a massive Ben 10 fan this is just a massive headache. But if this was the assignment and requirements given to me, my personal pitch would be that in human form one of his specials is to transform but you always get a random alien, either that or out of the 10 you get a list of 4 or so and can choose between any of those 4 randomly picked forms (Think Hero's Menu from Smash Ultimate). I do like the idea of the Omni-Energy Bar that would represent the amount of time that he can spend in any of his forms (besides human of course). The only question from here out be how each of these systems interact with each other? - Does the bar start full, empty, or somewhere in-between? -Does his bar fill up slowly over time while in Human form, or does he NEED perform game actions (probably combos) to fill the meter? -Do all of the transformations drain his Omni-Energy over time, or is it just a 1-time cost payment upfront, or even a combination of both? -Based on the answer(s) for the previous question, should all transformations be costed the same or differently with better/more powerful transformations costing more &/or lasting a shorter amount of time? (One of the last questions to ask towards the end of development for this character, as balancing is one of the last steps in this process) -Should Ben be allowed to transform out of a transformation by himself, or should he be required to stay in a transformation until a certain amount of time? Should this time be until his Omni-Meter gets to a certain amount/empty, or an amount of in-game time? If he can, should he be allowed go directly from one alien to another, or should he need to revert back into human first? - If we go with the "4 random choices out of 10 possible" option, should those choices remain unchanging throughout the game or should they be able to change under certain conditions? If so, what would those conditions be? Ban losing a stock/life? After Ben Transforms? Should we make the 4 options 3 random aliens and then a re-roll for those options, and if so should the re-roll cost any Omni-Energy? Do we go with only one of these options or multiple at once? - Should Ben be allowed to move while interacting with his transformation menu, or should he need to stay in place? (I'd prefer letting him move so that there is the chance of clutching falling off the stage by selecting an alien with good or great recovery options off the stage.) - How would all of these systems interact with the perks system? Would each perk make 1 or more certain aliens more likely to appear? Would each perk change the set of available aliens to transform into (which if we did this would be like creating up to 10, or even more, new characters for each of these kinds of perk)? - Should we abandon most of the above questions and make all of Ben's transformations tied to perks, so each perk turns Ben into a single other alien for for the whole game? Is there room to mix and match this with any of the above questions/systems already listed? Ben is just a unique character to have to play as that if they want to create a moveset that is closely faithful to his original source material, what I've listed above would only be a small amount of questions that would need to be asked and tested and answered. I'm only a single person, not an entire team, so I know there are way more questions that others could think of, and with all of these questions being asked it turns into there being multiple different ways to put this character together and needing to pick which version of the character is the best for the players, the devs, and the character himself. I wouldn't be surprised if the team is currently working on a playable Ben character now, and I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him until season 3 or possibly even season 4! No matter what though, if he does get added to the game then I'll stick to my promise of finally picking up, buying, & playing this game.
I feel like there should be 2 separate Bens, with 11-year old Ben being limited to the pre-Alien Force aliens and the 17-year old version having aliens from Alien Force onwards.
My idea of Ben in Multiversus involves giving him 4 aliens, each one representing one of the classic shows, but having very simplistic coding like an assist trophy from smash When it comes to the aliens, my picks are: Heatblast from the classic series; mage; most attacks are projectiles + allies can ignite Big Chill from Alien Force; assassin; fast aerial combos + improved dodges Armodrillo from Ultimate Alien; tank; slow but tough + attacks can attract opponents Crashhopper from Omniverse; bruiser; mighty knockback + extra jumps
As someone who has played since MVS Beta, I'd like to offer my thoughts. (Long comment, you've been warned) - As far as a new class goes, I think that it should be called Omni. Not only would it be extremely fitting for Ben Tennyson to be the first Omni character, but they've already used the term Omni at the end of the Season 1 Rifts, so it wouldn't feel out of place at all. If they don't want to go that route though, I 100% agree Mage is the best pick. - For transformations, I'd always imagined it like this: You start in human form, and your Neutral Special is the Omnitrix. It brings up a wheel on press, not hold, and then pressing W, A, S, or D selects one of 4 aliens, with the directions being mapped to their main function. (W for aerial, A for evasion, S for defense, and D for bruiser/rush down) I think adding a meter would also be a good idea, since it means not spamming aliens constantly. I do think it should slowly fill up over time though, so if you ringout the opponent, you can still fill it a bit to either get a head start for the next stock or to top yourself off. I also think that pressing Neutral Special again while transformed should change you back to Ben and put the bar on a short cooldown, 3-5 seconds, before it can start filling again. - The aliens are really up in the air for me. I'd love to see Classic Ben be the rep for the series (like how I HOPE Raven and PPG are their OG versions and not their rebooted versions), but Omniverse Ben works well too. I'm not really going to say which aliens I'd pick as the 4 since I'd have to know which version of Ben they'd choose first. - "But the development!" I'm going to be entirely honest, if they're going to model an entire alien, they might as well get the most bang for their buck out of it. No double jump only aliens, no charge attack only aliens, it's commit to the transformation or bust. That way they don't go "is it worth it to model an entire alien JUST for this one attack?" Makes development longer, but we'll all be better off for it in the end. - Perks... I've thought a LOT about these, but I think that I've got a good one. The "Master Control" Perk prevents Ben from timing out when transformed, or makes it a lot slower at least. If you press Neutral Special while transformed, you open the wheel instead of transforming back. Double Tapping Neutral Special will revert you to Ben though, so you aren't just stuck in alien form. We need some other powerful perks to balance things out, so how about the "Not Just Big" Perk. This perk completely removes your four alien transformations, but in return you can transform into Way Big. To balance things out though, he'd be slow but powerful, and the Omnitrix meter would take longer to fill while also draining quicker, with a slightly longer cooldown on time out too. That way you can't just keep spamming it the entire match. Think of it kind of like IG's "Protect Friends" mechanic, but as a Perk instead. This gives players the choice between more alien usage or a stronger but more rare alien, meaning they'll have the weigh their options depending on the matchup. Because let's be real, nobody is playing Ben for Ben, they're playing for the aliens. - Also, can we just talk about the lack of a stage here??? We've GOTTA have it be Mr. Smoothy, right? Have the sign be destructible, be able to fight on the roof or on the ground, and you can make Mr. Smoothy a Rift Boss just like the Alien Force game.
This was really well thought out! Mutant Kevin would also work pretty well in my opinion. But which amalgam form? Maybe you could select each as like a skin with other movesets?
There is a lot to weight in. What Ben to use, what aliens to use, and how to use them. Ideally Heatblast, Rath and Feedback would be the top contenders for picks but we shall see
If you can collect aliens by paying for them and customizing your alien sets and choose from many aliens and choose only two for one battle of course it excludes flying aliens, that would allow for some unique strategies in game
I think the initial idea of aliens being apart of combos was good but i like the inclusion of the omnitrix in this, and that maybe other aliens could be perks that you upgrade your way to, while alien x being a rare knock out attack
while i was eating thinking of this video and haven't see it, i thought a moveset ideia and it begins as ben as he only has the outbreak aliens (the aliens that are the worst, walktrout or any other unlocked in that epsisode) as the base moveset and with a meter you can do a certain action (like a omnitrix blast? as ben raises his hand and blast comes foward) to unlock a much stronger one, like i know is just a scan but kicking hawks is the up-special and in the "unlocked alien" is rath but the thing is both are good in a way, like hawks is a fast far ranged medium damage attack but rath is a slow close strong damage, another one i thought as walktrout you spin arround as ben slip on his self and deals to not so significant damage but gets the oponent slipery, and in stronger is ripjaws as his spin much more damage and knocking out enemies farway but not with the slipery effect, fairy dust just knocks oponents to sleep for a few seconds as strong is swampfire burns deals damage and all basic attacks things, but i think like that cause is the thinkering aspect of ben and the many times ben messes up with the watch
If i were to add Ben in to multiversus, maybe give him 5 aliens (or 4, where you combo UAF together), 1 for each iteration (classic, AF, UA, OV, Reboot). You have to transform before the match or after each knockout. Heatblast (still think protector of earth with the double jump then glide), then Rath, Feedback, and maybe overflow or shockrock. Obviously inter changable. Or the other option is whatever skin you pick you get that alien. So if you pick classic ben you get his corresponding classic alien. So on and so forth.
I want them to add Dr Animo as an announcer pack Also for my Ben 10 move set idea, I thought he would function more like Pokemon trainer and has 1 alien from each series representing a different class. For the tank it would be Cannonbolt and he could have Armour and deflect projectiles (Diamondhead would be my second choice but I feel like he could still get in through a skin for Tetrax) For the mage, it would be Feedback I like the move set idea you gave him. The last two I've got two ideas, either Rath as the bruiser and Water hazard as the assassin or Echo Echo as the assassin and have Armodrilo as the bruiser. Also really like the move set you gave Ben.
2:50 I would say they should add a new game mode or Class called juggernaut where one player can be really op and all the other players will have to team up against them so Ben can still be loyal to the original idea of being really op and you can get him as a character if you did the most damage to the player/boss I would like this to be the way that Ben get introduced in to multi-verses
Theyve got the Ppgs being stance swap character's, they definitely can make him a VERY huge grind character to make up for having hopefully 10 characters. Id love it but hed probably get master cotrol and change for each direction.
Ben would be a big boost to the multiversus players especially if they get gwen(alien force/ultimate alien) and kevin 11(alien force/ultimate) cause im assuming most people have or still crush on alien force gwen and they can do some cool stuff with gwens gameplay in multiversus and with kevin they can do some cool stuff as well since he can absorb the material of what he chooses there could be really cool character
While half of me would love to have Ben himself in the game - I have thoughts about adding various alien transformations as their own characters with their own move sets. Dont get me wrong, having Ben with the gimmick of transforming is great but I just feel like we could have more characters with more playstyles and more opportunities if we added the aliens separately or at least some of the aliens separately. Also, if you're gonna add Ben, you gotta add Vilgax. What's a hero without the villain?
In your comic, I hope you put in when Dr. Animo becomes the giant white gorilla with a jar on its head. Even though Rex and his Universe aren't part of your story I am glad you put in E.V.O.s
What if Ben worked like Hero from Smash Ultimate? He could have "Omni-Energy" like Hero's MP that increases over time and as he lands attacks. Then his down special can show four random aliens that allow him to either play as that alien or simply attack as it in exchange for the Omni-Energy. His Neutral Special and Up Special can be a Plumber Pistol and Hoverboard respectively. Side Special can be Null Void Egg and Light Attacks can be simple punches and kicks. Perhaps his Special Attacks can have different levels of charge that use up Omni-Energy
I feel instead of making a new style of character, ben himself would be a bruiser, and each alien he has be based on the other roles. He would still have the omni energy charge thing, but instead of 2 characters known for projectile base combat, we would only have 1. The mage alien could be Heatblast or Swampfire. Then the assassination could be the combo transformation. Fast and nimble, it would be someone like Xlr8 And then the tank. This one would be the one to be able to armor through others attacks and then counter with massive damage. The most obvious choices would be Fourarms or Humungasaur, maybe even diamond head. I understand it would be hard to implement so many characters in one, but this is Ben 10 we are talking about, its either this or something that doesnt feel like Ben
They have already it and it’s going to take a longer because like you said he’s complicated character with all the animations and then each alien has a unique voice so there’s a lot of different dialogue that has be recorded. It’s not going happen overnight it will happen eventually.
I got an idea. multiverse does two player AND we at least get two characters from the SAME universe....what if we got TWO Ben's? the older Ben as the ranged fighter and the Young Ben as the melee fighter? that would give a better access to use the aliens in a more solid state but also keep the ideas mentioned here.
they'd have to keep the aliens off screen and move them with ben so if he ever transforms MID fight he'll smoothly transform also a quick flash and you should make it so there is humungosaur to take down tanks, wrath to take down bruisers, XLR8 for assassins, and feedback for mages to give every show a fair amount of aliens and make ben versatile
I think it's a good idea and it's great. Though they may have separate skins and characters for each transformation. Hey, they may put in Gwen and Kevin and Rook.
Multiversus has to fix a lot to make it worth it. My most requested character was Samurai Jack, and they finally added him to the game...only for me to barely play the game anyways, since its gameplay and monetization aren't good enough.
Please excuse the minor static in the first part of the video!
just give him wrath form only
Can you do a crossover ARC with Plants vs Zombies. ?
Nice
Ofc it's a good idea if you ask me
This guys knows what he's talking about!
@@TheInkTankfor sure
Yeeeee
Ben would genuinely want me to play MVS

"Blocking turns you back into Ben."
_"Oh no, that guy's shooting lasers at me, _*_let me turn back into a human so I can block it with my arms."_*
Also, there’s no blocking in Multiversus.
Would be cooler if it’s like Kirby in Smash, where you change back when taunting

That sucks. I would like to see him transforming in ten aliens, everyone with their on moves.

I feel like ben could be similar to the pokemon trainer from smash where you play as an alien from each prime series and can switch between the 4.
I like this idea! Ultimately it would be best to give love to EACH series!
@@ethanrichard5662or an alien from ultimate alien, one of the Andromeda five probably
But each alien in each art style. Please no buffed Big Chill.
Agree
I would change heat blast to wildfire and change shock rock to big chill

Multiverus is such a fun weird game which feels like Ben would fit in perfectly for the game
Skins ultimately feel like the easiest way for Ben to work, but we'd be missing out on so many different power/combo ideas
What about Ultimate Alien?
@@somerandomdude7785 maybe that could be a perk?
Ben 10 in multiverses is really amazing everyone wants to play the character in the game
This could not be more perfect i literally just rewatched the first video thank you
What do you think after seeing both? Did we make good improvements? or were they terrible?
@@TheInkTank Good improvement!! Really felt more clear and concise too. With what we know now too it just feels fleshed out correctly. You all did an amazing job!!! ::D
Honestly, I would even settle for Gen Rex. Dude is very underrated and would have the sickest move set
i genuinely love the idea you have, but here is where i would come in to fix some stuff to be more easier and accessible.
I hope we get generation rex as well
Yes
Oh it's out I saw the community post not that long ago, i was really hyped for the video. Im really big into multiversus rn, like top 20 Rick and id switch mains in a heartbeat
Dude that's awesome, Rick is a hard character too! Glad we have Multiversus fans already and good ones too
1.There are 5 classes:Bruiser,Tank,Mage, Assassin AND Support.
Example of Alien character:
Cannonball->Support class.Weak punches but powerful slam attacks.
I feel there should be more consideration for iconic aliens
Like Astrodactyl’s inclusion is neat but how many fans care about Astrodactyl over other flying aliens like Big Chill or Stinkfly? Heck none of the base selectable aliens are from classic which is a travesty
I really like all these concepts for moves and power ups integrating the hoverboard and plumber weapons and the choices for aliens nicely represent all the series & Bens characters I’m also glad Astrodactyl gets some love. U guys also used Skurd in such a creative way. This makes me even more excited for A game like this with Ben.
I also think it’s important to include aliens from each era of the main continuity in a potential moveset. That way the character’s whole history feels acknowledged.
I agree!
Amazing!
Thanks!
Nice work
Ben in MVS will be a big win for the community
Love the video bro keep up the good work
Something else you could do to add aliens to his moveset, have him turn to XLR8 or Fasttrack when he dodges to the side, Jetray or Astrodactyl when he dodges upwards, and Ghostfreak when he neutral dodges. Idk who you could use for a downward dodge, maybe Goop?
I love this idea! It gives an organic natural feel to changing often for Ben!
Maybe even add Cannonbolt, diamond head or NRG when he parry’s an attack
Great updated concept, I've downloaded Multiversus but haven't played it, if Ben was in the lineup I definitely would have by now.
And I like how you made some Moveset fit all eras of Ben
great to see the return of Hurshie
I like to imagine Ben as a Bruiser but having 4 available alien transformations based on each class. Neutral Special opens the Omnitrix dial and lets you transform into an alien based on which direction you input. After transformed, Ben stays as an Alien for a certain duration (you can also use neutral specialto transform back to Ben). Once the timer runs out, you're forced back into Ben and need to wait for a cooldown to transform into another alien
The idea behind this being that as a Ben player, you have 4 playtyle options and you have to pick and commit to one of them during a match. Do think it'd be good to have a Master Control perk that allows you to transform intoother aliens whenever, but that also causes the Omnitrix timer to run out faster
My picks for each class would be Diamondhead as Tank, Heatblast as Mage, either Big Chill or XLR8 as Assassin and Rath as Bruiser
I could see him being this game's answer to a kirby type character. His Aliens could come from him doing a "scanning" move, and either selecting the best alien for the job or changing into the same species as the other character if they're nonhuman (although this would be. A pain in the ass to implement)
Realistically they'd probably do something closer to your interpretation, but with much less focus on ben, similar to pokemon trainer.
Watches the video and immediate really like the energy bar idea.

Name a better combo...
Honestly can’t wait for 5YL
There is an incredible mod for Rival of Aether that puts in Ben. With all of his moves turning him into a different alien (from the 2005 series). He’d be MVS’s first stance fighter. With three different forms. With some moves mimicking other fighters in the roster.
Stance 1: Classic, would have the similar playstyle to his version from RoA, using everyone from Heatblast-to-Ditto. (Plus Feedback and Clockwork.)
Stance 2: Ultimate, would use the roster from Swampfire-to-Jury Rigg.
Give him the link treatment and split him into 4 Ben’s og series , af,ua,ov, versions
Assassin could be XLR8 and Chamalien
Mage can be Feedback and Heatblast
Bruiser can be Fourarms and Rath
Tank can be Diamond Head and The Worst or Gravattack.
Then double jumping gives astrodactyl or stinkfly
This was a great video
Great vid!
Ben 10 would Honestly revive multiversus for a lot of people. And I'd honestly play it just for ben
i've been saying the same thing for a while. if ben gets into multiversus, i'd absolutely put a ton of time into the game
Great video
Ink tank please bring us more hurshie hes a really cool dude.
I would like many crossover stories with Ben 10 as well and that is also part of my fan fics
Good morning everyone. And it's odd that hurshie is at Kuro's house and being the host of this video. But I'm up for it.
I think if Ben was in MVS he should have 1 alien for each series from the classic timeline
Example - Heatblast, Jetray, Feedback and Armodrillo
And maybe make it so when he transforms he stays that way until he gets knocked out and then has to refill the meter (I haven't played MVS so I'm not sure if this is balanced)
Suspend your disbelief a little.)
The assassin would be Feedback.
(One of the last questions to ask towards the end of development for this character, as balancing is one of the last steps in this process)
-Should Ben be allowed to transform out of a transformation by himself, or should he be required to stay in a transformation until a certain amount of time?
(I'd prefer letting him move so that there is the chance of clutching falling off the stage by selecting an alien with good or great recovery options off the stage.)
- How would all of these systems interact with the perks system?
Each attack could be using a different alien. His sorta ultimate could be turning into Way Big or Alien X.
This is my pitch before watching the video.
I feel like there should be 2 separate Bens, with 11-year old Ben being limited to the pre-Alien Force aliens and the 17-year old version having aliens from Alien Force onwards.
My idea of Ben in Multiversus involves giving him 4 aliens, each one representing one of the classic shows, but having very simplistic coding like an assist trophy from smash
When it comes to the aliens, my picks are:
Heatblast from the classic series; mage; most attacks are projectiles + allies can ignite
Big Chill from Alien Force; assassin; fast aerial combos + improved dodges
Armodrillo from Ultimate Alien; tank; slow but tough + attacks can attract opponents
Crashhopper from Omniverse; bruiser; mighty knockback + extra jumps
As someone who has played since MVS Beta, I'd like to offer my thoughts. (Long comment, you've been warned)
- As far as a new class goes, I think that it should be called Omni.
In my opinion the Transformation could be a Taunt instead of a Neutral
This was really well thought out! Mutant Kevin would also work pretty well in my opinion. But which amalgam form? Maybe you could select each as like a skin with other movesets?
There is a lot to weight in. What Ben to use, what aliens to use, and how to use them. Ideally Heatblast, Rath and Feedback would be the top contenders for picks but we shall see
I can definitely see these ideas working for Ben in the game, if they do add him hopefully it’s like this or similar
If you can collect aliens by paying for them and customizing your alien sets and choose from many aliens and choose only two for one battle of course it excludes flying aliens, that would allow for some unique strategies in game
If it does take too many recourses to make Ben an actual playable fighter, then I don't mind if they add Gwen instead.
I think the initial idea of aliens being apart of combos was good but i like the inclusion of the omnitrix in this, and that maybe other aliens could be perks that you upgrade your way to, while alien x being a rare knock out attack
I know how to animate, and I wanna animate my own fighting game. This video gives me great insight on what I should do. Thanks, Tank👍
Go for it!
@@TheInkTank you got it, Tank👍
while i was eating thinking of this video and haven't see it, i thought a moveset ideia and it begins as ben as he only has the outbreak aliens (the aliens that are the worst, walktrout or any other unlocked in that epsisode) as the base moveset and with a meter you can do a certain action (like a omnitrix blast? as ben raises his hand and blast comes foward) to unlock a much stronger one, like i know is just a scan but kicking hawks is the up-special and in the "unlocked alien" is rath but the thing is both are good in a way, like hawks is a fast far ranged medium damage attack but rath is a slow close strong damage, another one i thought as walktrout you spin arround as ben slip on his self and deals to not so significant damage but gets the oponent slipery, and in stronger is ripjaws as his spin much more damage and knocking out enemies farway but not with the slipery effect, fairy dust just knocks oponents to sleep for a few seconds as strong is swampfire burns deals damage and all basic attacks things, but i think like that cause is the thinkering aspect of ben and the many times ben messes up with the watch
I’ve never even touched the game because I’ve been waiting for Ben.
I want them to add Dr Animo as an announcer pack
Also for my Ben 10 move set idea, I thought he would function more like Pokemon trainer and has 1 alien from each series representing a different class.
For the tank it would be Cannonbolt and he could have Armour and deflect projectiles (Diamondhead would be my second choice but I feel like he could still get in through a skin for Tetrax)
For the mage, it would be Feedback I like the move set idea you gave him.
An ink tank video?
Couldn’t have ask for anything better for my birthday
now they have no reason not to add him 👀
In your comic, I hope you put in when Dr. Animo becomes the giant white gorilla with a jar on its head.
Even though Rex and his Universe aren't part of your story I am glad you put in E.V.O.s
Kudos to including Ben’s human stuff as a part of his move set
What if Ben worked like Hero from Smash Ultimate? He could have "Omni-Energy" like Hero's MP that increases over time and as he lands attacks. Then his down special can show four random aliens that allow him to either play as that alien or simply attack as it in exchange for the Omni-Energy. His Neutral Special and Up Special can be a Plumber Pistol and Hoverboard respectively. Side Special can be Null Void Egg and Light Attacks can be simple punches and kicks. Perhaps his Special Attacks can have different levels of charge that use up Omni-Energy
Generator Rex better be put in this game he’s literally made for this game
I’m just glad Echo Echo was included, my goat alien 🙏😭
I feel instead of making a new style of character, ben himself would be a bruiser, and each alien he has be based on the other roles.
He would still have the omni energy charge thing, but instead of 2 characters known for projectile base combat, we would only have 1.
The mage alien could be Heatblast or Swampfire.
Then the assassination could be the combo transformation. Fast and nimble, it would be someone like Xlr8
And then the tank.
Ben 10 better be the one character both players could pick and it's NOT a mirror match.
I've always said they could just randomize his aliens each match. Keeps gameplay fresh and exciting plus keeps in line with his usual MO
They have already it and it’s going to take a longer because like you said he’s complicated character with all the animations and then each alien has a unique voice so there’s a lot of different dialogue that has be recorded. It’s not going happen overnight it will happen eventually.
His gameplay could work basically like that one episode in classic where he gets master control just transforming constantly
It would be cool to see generator Rex in multiversus
Ben would be the most powerful character in this
I think it's a good idea and it's great.
Let's hope!
We need a ben 10 comic book series
We're getting one!
This was recently announced! and we covered it in a previous video :O . You should check it out
He should be the main character
