The reason why Storm Collectibles(ST) chose 98 for the box was because by obtaining the 98 license, which apparently SNK divides their licenses base on each game, 98 games is the dream match edition which means ST is able to obtain 1 license and be able to make the complete roster. Secondly, the Terry Bogard that you've purchased is the first release, which means it was release around 2020, and he sky rocket in price before ST decides to reissue him again in 2024. The only change that ST made was that they did not include the Rugal effect piece with the reissue. 230 bucks in my opinion is not worth but he is definitely a good figure which is why the aftermarket for him increased alot. Storm Collectibles figures are hands down awesome. Finally a Toy company getting the in game body proportions right for the KOF characters the downside is that these releases have been so slow. who knows when a KOF mainstream team will be completed .( eg:Fatal fury Trio Andy and Joe )

My main character is Andy Bogard. I don't think any company has made action figures of Andy Bogard or Joe Higashi. It's always Terry Bogard or Mai Shiranui when it comes to the Fatal Fury characters in the King of Fighters line up. I hope another action figure business get the SNK license to make some King of Fighters figures. Mainly, Jada Toys. They have a good Street Fighter II line going strong and they're more affordable at $25 a figure. Thanks for the Review!

Storm collectibles just came out with Mai Shiranui a year ago, they didn't cancel the line. Storm just has a very slow release schedule which is why there aren't a lot of kof figures in the line.
