This is me and my friend group’s theory: We believe that Sora is the M.o.M’s Nobody. Sora has had all of the characteristics of a Nobody from the very beginning (including when he did the key thing and became a Heartless; Roxas became Sora’s Nobody only because Sora had a piece of Ventus in him) and Sora can be a motel for these other hearts because he’s a special kind of Nobody, just like our friend Xion. Now why is he connected to MoM? We think because Sora can do things no other Keyblade master can and because Sora and MoM have basically the same mannerisms, that is why they’re connected. And it also would be satisfying from a narrative perspective. If Sora is the MoM’s Nobody, that would put a huge twist on what is good and what is bad; when is *light* bad and *darkness* good? Oh, and that black box? It’s a data world of everything and everyone: the world we’re in right now. Why? Because it would give the MoM infinite possibilities to get the ending he wants. “But that means Sora technically broke infinity when he went to the real world, right?” Maybe, maybe not. Sora is always seen with a crown on a throne in multiple artworks for KH, therefore he’s the false king. I think Yozora tried to “save” Sora, by stopping him from fulfilling his destiny of being MoM, when he went to Quadratum.
If Scala is the nexus from where all the worlds sprout, it has connection with the One whole world. So imagine how gigantic Scala is, we're just teleported there in kh3, but from the gummi ship it must be pretty intimidating to observe it.

It would be funny if KHIV has something happen where Light and Darkness become imbalanced and some force like Chaos starts to reign. By the end of it The Master of Masters removes his hood revealing him to be 'Jack' Garland from the first Final Fantasy and he wants to kill Chaos but inevitably becoming Chaos itself like in Stanger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.

This is the best Kingdom Hearts theory I've ever seen. It gave me genuine insight into the series that I never expected and was believable and entertaining from start to finish. Bravo sir.
My theory is that it’s sora from the future. The future version of our sora who lost everything to the darkness. Basically our version of sora would’ve started to go a little too far in defending against the darkness which in turn causes his friends to go against him, but in reality this was the darkness manipulating sora and in the end causes sora to lose(they are killed) his friends and family. So in his plan for revenge against darkness he travels back in time and sets himself up as the MoM and as the first keyblade wielder. He creates the unions and the 7 masters and time plays out from their. In a sense he makes himself into a living paradox. Here’s a few pieces of evidence that support that the MoM is sora. 1. How he acts. Sora jokes around a lot and is very comical. Look how the MoM’s acts with people. He messes with them. Makes jokes. Something that sora does a lot. Also look at the mannerisms the MoM does when he jokes. It’s pretty similar to sora’s mannerisms 2: the book of prophecies. For a person to know the future they would have to have witness all those events or at least heard of them. So when MoM(Sora) went back in time and wrote the BoP he wrote about the keyblade wars and all the others because he already lived through it.
It could work but didn't he put his eye in his keyblade for the sole purpose of being able to see what happens in the future to make the book of prophecies in the first place?

What if, just bare with me on this..... what if the Master of Masters is...... Sora's Mom. I know, I know, there's a male voice that is coming from the Master of Masters. But consider, we only ever heard Sora's mom's voice once in KH1, and then she seems to slip out of the picture. And the Key wielders know magic, who's to say while cloaked, the entire time Sora's mom was also a key wielder and used magic to make a voice filter to keep anyone knowing it was her stringing the plot along. And many movies of the past, including some of Disney's own works have depicted females being the more manipulative character. Plus, Master of Masters makes the acronym M.o.M., but that's not so important. And there's the mystery of "Who is Sora's mom?" Anyways, hope KH4 does give us a big reveal.
I still can't believe the Master of Masters was revealed to be Grandmaster Wizard Wakka this whole time but in retrospect you can see the machinations of his plan to use Kingdom Hearts as his final solution for the Al Bhed all the way back on Destiny Island.
I can't beleive I'm saying this but he may be right in a way when you think about pluto has appear and dissapear and been able to go through darkness portald like it's nothing but i don't think MoM is exactly Pluto rather maybe he did the same thing as Ven his heart is in Pluto while his body is somewhere else or being used by someone else
I haven't watched the video, but one thing that I feel needs to be addressed is that there's a character that we haven't seen recombined after their heartless and nobody were defeated: Sora. His strong heart allowed him to maintain his appearance, but there's evidence that suggests that recombining with Roxas didn't fully complete him. The biggest of which I think are his ability to use Anti-Form and Rage Form. These are bestial dark versions of Sora that very clearly resemble the heartless. I'm not sure how his body through Roxas comes into play, but technically his body and heart are defeated in KH3 when he loses his friends and finds himself in the Final World. In one sense, he survived and used the power of waking to change fate, but I'm convinced there's a chance that the power of waking doesn't truly rewrite time when you don't doom yourself to unreality. Dooming yourself to unreality could prevent time from splitting by removing the cause of the time fracture, but failing to do so would create two versions of reality. It could also be that unreality is punishment for using the power of waking twice at the same time where only two distinct timelines are allowed to split off from one person's actions. If this could be believed, the version of Sora that doesn't change the timeline would find himself exiting the final world expecting to go off to save his friends, but instead recombining at Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden where most of the guardians of light have fallen to darkness. From here, it's hard to say what would become of him, but I think it's within the realm of possibility that there is a rogue version of Sora more in touch with his darkness left unaccounted for. Perhaps from here, he travels back to the time of fairytales and attempts to eliminate darkness once and for all, perhaps using his connection to Ventus somehow. Or otherwise attempts to return to a time where his friends are still alive. Perhaps he falls to darkness completely. I just think that logically, Sora never truly became whole again. Even other Nobodies that became whole again after gaining a heart of their own like Lea still recombined into one person, but Roxas never really died and even came back in KH3 as his own person. Sora is honestly imo closer to being a heartless than he is to being a person. Edit: I watched the video. Perhaps in the other timeline, Xehanort is still defeated by 7 guardians of light: Sora, Roxas, Terra, Yen Sid, Even, Daffy Duck, and Mario. That would tie things together nicely.

I’m glad you ruled out Demyx and future Sora, although future Sora is more of a half-truth. I’ve been trying to spread the gospel that MoM is Larxene and went to great lengths to show my work on it. The shot where Sora'a mom calls him down for dinner is the set up. In the shot there is a thunderstorm in the distance and Sora's toys on the floor. Larxene is a puppet master which is what the MoM is- a puppet based on Sora. That was her goal in Castle Oblivion. She is the only person who calls replicas toys. She is connected to Strelitiza, and despite not being "friends" with her, was able to point out her secret spot. Going so far as to use the phrase "My secret" before fading. Larxene embodies the deadly sin of pride. She hates losing more than anything. When Nomura first came up with Kingdom Hearts, he wanted it to be a story where they defeat a witch in the end. That’s what’s about to be the case here. Larxene is constantly referred to as a witch. She has it out for Sora because the reality is that she came from a different video game and hates the fact that Kingdom Hearts is better than her video game. Gula, who is an image of Sora, was set up in this way. The Master says “Way to steal my thunder, show off.” Which is again referenced in Wreck-it Ralph when Felix explains that Turbo got jealous when another video game “Stole his thunder.”

@@zephyrias you know this thread actually thinks we may be in for a lot more than we’re bargaining for w/ 4. i mean, KH will always have a certain soft limit on How far it will go. but there’s just so many solid reasons for Nomura to crank it up to 11 and give us something really more adult in a shocking way without trying too Hard. like think of the time skip to 2 and the ever so slight advancement to teen vibes and slightly more realistic violence. it was one of the first E10+ games i ever saw btw not that that counts for super much. but i just wonder. Hard time skip. then Nomura got boned out of what he really wanted Versus to be. an adult KH. m rated vibes etc . i’m not saying this game will outright switch to blood and gore but….it would be about time for yet another representation of violence and another advancement in the way the drama is handled and delivered. i’m sure it’ll have a super deep twist intro akin to 2 that maybe is even longer whereas 3 prologue was more straight in like 1 or “let’s get you back into series or teach you what KH is”. now i feel like not only will we get another badass action rpg w/ sharp combat and a lot of options but it’ll feel more adult gameplay wise as well and like a more credible adult RPG not just a kids game. all while having a top tier story that’s also surprisingly way more adult. i’m really excited for 4 even tho i’m still in the period where I can’t believe they even announced it so smooth like that. the bumps must really be ironed out after 3

I've been saying this for years, your logic is absolutely sound and I am 100% on board for the wild ride
My theory is that it’s sora from the future. The future version of our sora who lost everything to the darkness. Basically our version of sora would’ve started to go a little too far in defending against the darkness which in turn causes his friends to go against him, but in reality this was the darkness manipulating sora and in the end causes sora to lose(they are killed) his friends and family. So in his plan for revenge against darkness he travels back in time and sets himself up as the MoM and as the first keyblade wielder. He creates the unions and the 7 masters and time plays out from their. In a sense he makes himself into a living paradox.
Here’s a few pieces of evidence that support that the MoM is sora.
1. How he acts. Sora jokes around a lot and is very comical. Look how the MoM’s acts with people. He messes with them. Makes jokes. Something that sora does a lot. Also look at the mannerisms the MoM does when he jokes. It’s pretty similar to sora’s mannerisms
2: the book of prophecies. For a person to know the future they would have to have witness all those events or at least heard of them. So when MoM(Sora) went back in time and wrote the BoP he wrote about the keyblade wars and all the others because he already lived through it.
It could work but didn't he put his eye in his keyblade for the sole purpose of being able to see what happens in the future to make the book of prophecies in the first place?

I was wondering, is the MoM an actual keyblade master? Is it confirmed? Or it's just a name? Because if that's just a name and he isn't a real "master" it increases the chances of being Sora since we know he is not a keyblade master somehow. (also one thing that keeps me from believing this theory, even if i completely love it, is that Sora would need a real glow up in terms of intelligence. Sora is pretty dumb compared to how the MoM seems to be)

What if, just bare with me on this..... what if the Master of Masters is...... Sora's Mom.
I know, I know, there's a male voice that is coming from the Master of Masters. But consider, we only ever heard Sora's mom's voice once in KH1, and then she seems to slip out of the picture. And the Key wielders know magic, who's to say while cloaked, the entire time Sora's mom was also a key wielder and used magic to make a voice filter to keep anyone knowing it was her stringing the plot along. And many movies of the past, including some of Disney's own works have depicted females being the more manipulative character. Plus, Master of Masters makes the acronym M.o.M., but that's not so important. And there's the mystery of "Who is Sora's mom?"
Anyways, hope KH4 does give us a big reveal.
I still can't believe the Master of Masters was revealed to be Grandmaster Wizard Wakka this whole time but in retrospect you can see the machinations of his plan to use Kingdom Hearts as his final solution for the Al Bhed all the way back on Destiny Island.

I haven't watched the video, but one thing that I feel needs to be addressed is that there's a character that we haven't seen recombined after their heartless and nobody were defeated: Sora.
His strong heart allowed him to maintain his appearance, but there's evidence that suggests that recombining with Roxas didn't fully complete him. The biggest of which I think are his ability to use Anti-Form and Rage Form. These are bestial dark versions of Sora that very clearly resemble the heartless. I'm not sure how his body through Roxas comes into play, but technically his body and heart are defeated in KH3 when he loses his friends and finds himself in the Final World.
In one sense, he survived and used the power of waking to change fate, but I'm convinced there's a chance that the power of waking doesn't truly rewrite time when you don't doom yourself to unreality. Dooming yourself to unreality could prevent time from splitting by removing the cause of the time fracture, but failing to do so would create two versions of reality. It could also be that unreality is punishment for using the power of waking twice at the same time where only two distinct timelines are allowed to split off from one person's actions.
If this could be believed, the version of Sora that doesn't change the timeline would find himself exiting the final world expecting to go off to save his friends, but instead recombining at Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden where most of the guardians of light have fallen to darkness. From here, it's hard to say what would become of him, but I think it's within the realm of possibility that there is a rogue version of Sora more in touch with his darkness left unaccounted for.
Perhaps from here, he travels back to the time of fairytales and attempts to eliminate darkness once and for all, perhaps using his connection to Ventus somehow. Or otherwise attempts to return to a time where his friends are still alive. Perhaps he falls to darkness completely.
I just think that logically, Sora never truly became whole again. Even other Nobodies that became whole again after gaining a heart of their own like Lea still recombined into one person, but Roxas never really died and even came back in KH3 as his own person. Sora is honestly imo closer to being a heartless than he is to being a person.
Edit: I watched the video. Perhaps in the other timeline, Xehanort is still defeated by 7 guardians of light: Sora, Roxas, Terra, Yen Sid, Even, Daffy Duck, and Mario. That would tie things together nicely.

I’ve been trying to spread the gospel that MoM is Larxene and went to great lengths to show my work on it.
The shot where Sora'a mom calls him
down for dinner is the set up. In the shot there is a thunderstorm in the distance and Sora's toys on the floor. Larxene is a puppet master which is what the MoM is- a puppet based on Sora. That was her goal in Castle Oblivion. She is the only person who calls replicas toys.
She is connected to Strelitiza, and despite not being "friends" with her, was able to point out her secret spot. Going so far as to use the phrase "My secret" before fading.
Larxene embodies the deadly sin of pride. She hates losing more than anything. When Nomura first came up with Kingdom Hearts, he wanted it to be a story where they defeat a witch in the end. That’s what’s about to be the case here. Larxene is constantly referred to as a witch.
She has it out for Sora because the reality is that she came from a different video game and hates the fact that Kingdom Hearts is better than her video game. Gula, who is an image of Sora, was set up in this way. The Master says “Way to steal my thunder, show off.” Which is again referenced in Wreck-it Ralph when Felix explains that Turbo got jealous when another video game “Stole his thunder.”

When I realized it was her I couldn’t unsee it. Nobody ever considered her but when I formed a hypothesis and analyzed it under that lens- suspending the disbelief that the MoM could be a woman I was more impressed with just how much evidence there was about it.

Honestly, I HAVE thought this before (in the sense of "Jar-Jar was the Sith master orchestrating events" or "Tataru was Zodiark's heart/avatar only pretending to be weak to keep tabs on the player character in FF14") regarding Pluto, though dismissed it as being...unrealistic. He DOES seem to have no issues with corridors of darkness and all that.
Though your idea of the worlds all being one I agree with. I've thought that since the first time I heard Kairi's Grandmothers' story.
