    This was a really high quality vid and was enjoyable throughout. I'd love to see a breakdown of how the different artists 'build' the bodies they do like you showed with inpainting vs sketch etc.

      @@ricebrush Maybe not specific artist, but if you'd be willing any H artist would be a super interesting watch as they make so many different eye catching body types.

    It never occurred to me that blender could be used like that. I should look into that for my own art!

    Very nice bro
    I thought about it a lot and I thought it is cheating but then again 3d is also art so you can't argue

    • @ricebrush
      @ricebrush  10 місяців тому +1

      I used to think so too! Seeing how other artists started using it changed my mind. Plus it's technically more work

  • @euvphxria321

    So using clip studio paints 3d models arent cheating? I wanted to use it often since my anatomy is GARBAGE. Im thinking of posting sketches of the models, but i would recieve back lash for using models.

    • @ricebrush
      @ricebrush  10 місяців тому +2

      It depends on how you use it. IMO if your goal is to study anatomy, then using them wouldn't be helpful for that. But it's definitely nice for speeding up workflow!

      @@ricebrush so your saying i shouldn’t use 3d models to learn anatomy?

    • @JustTom-nv6mo

      @@euvphxria321the models have no anatomy on them to start with as anatomy is the study of the bones and muscles
      The models are used for posing a character which is an easy way to do figure/gesture drawing
      So if you use the models for posing you can then put some muscles and bones on top by learning them

    The background is somewhat distracting, the texture still gives it a strong 3D appearance even after paintover. This distracts from the anime-style character, which is a shame because the character you've drawn is excellent. Instead of forcing yourself with a complex 3D background, I believe a simple painted background would enhance the overall look. This is just my opinion.

    Control your audio levels. Having 20 slam sound fx overtop your voice makes it impossible to tell wtf you're saying.
