Thanks for watching! 🙌 I’m thinking about offering UA-cam memberships with perks like early access to videos, exclusive content, behind-the-scenes moments, and more. Plus, it would include the custom emojis we already use on Discord! Would this be something you'd be interested in? 🤔 By the way, I’ve been working on a long-form video for the K-swap content, which should be coming out soon, and I’ve got more auction car content on the way as well! Stay tuned! Appreciate you guys. 📌 New to the channel? Consider subscribing! 📲 Linktree: linktr.ee/Bendaga 🗣 Join our Discord: discord.gg/u4jj2BW3R6 ➡ Patreon: patreon.com/bendaga
I could sit for hours watching these longer auction videos... I wish I could be there myself, looking at financially irresponsible purchases😂 About the steering wheel on the Lincoln: I don't know if this is the reason why it behaves like that, but on certain cars, the steering wheel locks into place when you turn the ignition on, and swings up upon removing the key to give you more ease when you leave / enter the car. With the ignition off, the wheel moves freely without getting locked into place. The T18 Celica has such a feature too, and I was just as confused as you were the first time I noticed it in mine
Heres an idea- Buy the BMW and do a series learning bodywork on it. Its a win-win, you're not messing up a good car, (in fact saving a crappy one) so if you mess up it isnt the end of the world, and then also you can get content out of it, and then we get to see the beaut on the road again!
It's always fascinating seeing some of these cars at auction yards, especially ones like the Lincoln MkIII or the 2800 CS Bimmer, because they've no notable "write off damage" like the Volvo, so you really just have to wonder how or why they ended up here. I'd assume many are due to estate things, like the previous owner passed on and something something inheritance, but it's still interesting how cars like that just end up in an auction lot in such great condition even with a little rust or paint issues here and there.
We had one of those volvos in our circle of friends in the late 90s early 2Ks. It had a checkered spray painted roof and it would only be sold to the next owner for $105 and a footlong subway sandwich til it finally blew.
i don't have the 4-runner in my country but we do have the hilux. the market for it is so good to the point that we also call other trucks hilux lol. love and hate that truck though, love it because it can haul a lot of stuff but also hate it because it was often driven by small incels in the city who wants a big and powerful car but at a cheap price.
BMW 2800cs based on the rust would be more like falling down a mine shaft. Once you pull this car apart, you will find that it is not restorable (unless you want to spend up to $100k, no really, they are that bad - been there, done that)
@@bendaga oh ok, btw is it fully fixed now? in the first part of the restorations the integra was in pretty rough shape, so im curious to see what its like now

Those old big cars just are an entire old money vibe. When I look at your videos, there's always at least one that makes me go "I'd bid for that"
