About Onew, I've always thought that he's magical, really. From his voice to his personality, his comedic timing, with tinges of absurdity... he's absolutely charming and delightful, and what he's been releasing since he left sm feels so him. I love him so much, I can't be objective. And tbh, I don't want to. Onew's the best. (And SHINee is the best too).
This was exactlt my reaction. I knew who shinee were, I few songs here and there, but never got fully into them, group or solo ish. Then I was in a bad place when Key released Good and Great, heard it and it has been a wonderful journey. Still a baby shawol, but haved LOVED this year with Shinee ❤
I don't know if you noticed, but the screen also grew as his world grew and he went outside. The song is so great, the change in clothing and the screen, he said he wanted to encourage his introverts like him to be brave and go out.
I’m saying it again ….This is the most Jinki thing I’ve ever seen..and I’m totally here for it. ( Even more than him saying hello to a fish he just caught… even more than SHINee Pinee) I’m 90% convinced that these are actually screenshots of inside his head. I love it…everything… but I love it most because it makes Jinki sense and when Jinki is doing Jinki, everything is right.
Now that I think about it, from Blue to Mansae I kind of see progress in what we can perceive about his mental health. And I love that, he's healing. ❤

He ignores trends and approaches compositions unconventionally, reflecting his quirky, unique nature that ranges from the playful Beat Drum to his profound Circle. Aside from vocal prowess, his signature is authenticity- that’s why his songs resonate so deeply with those sharp enough to pay attention to this unlikely K-pop idol marching to his own drum. I was going through the darkest part of my life and they came into it, providing what was literally the one spark of joy in my life. I love them like brothers.
You and Onew would be great friends because you understand each other. Onew has been searching for a more joyful, happy and free life since 2018. And it seems that this has become even more important to him since he faced health problems last year. Manse is a gift from him to all of us who live in this hectic world full of information and insecurities, demands and fears so that we understand that we can go out and try to explore the world and be happy. It is true. I rediscovered SHINee and ONEW this year during his comeback [May 2024] and I was suffering from depression as well at that time. I found reason to smile and wake up the next day since then. I still feel occasionally sad and would stay indoor for a week sometimes but I have SHINee and ONEW's music to cheer me up. I turned 40 this year. Though I have known them and they were my 2nd favorite group back in 2008 [after Bigbang] til 2017, and I stopped following Kpop all together. But this year, I am a full pledged SHAWOL and there's no going back.
Love seeing you appreciate our boys' artistry! Jinki is our diamond and we're so proud of him and the path he has chosen! I hope one day you'll find the time to deep dive into their old discography and their majestic b-sides!
Onew has always been my bias since I got into SHINee in 2009. I don't think I have to explain it about his voice because that's a given. His solo discography has yet to dissappoint me since "Voice" Everything he has put out has been up my alley and I knew it was going to be. I don't know if it's blind bias but I have felt most his solo music has been amazing. It's not your typical kpop sound but it's catchy and addicting just as it is. I'm so happy he's releasing more music and I'm excited about his upcoming EP. I for one am glad he's out of SM's clutches because I feel now he can show exactly the type of artis he is by releasing the type of music he actually enjoys making and it makes me the happiest Onew stan I've ever been and lord knows us Jinggus (and all Shawols) have been through a lot of emotions when it comes to him and all of SHINee.

Getting into Shinee because of Taemin, only to have Key as a bias and proceed to get bias wrecked by Onew. Average baby Shinee experience, lol On a more serious note, I think Onew has really come into his own as a solo artist over the last few release cycles since dice really and it has been a delight watching him let more and more of that quirkiness slip into his music and videos. It really feels like he took control of his creative Vision bit by bit.

@@AiikoRoka I guess they are sampling a lot these days. A lot of times happens to me the " I have listened to this before...where was it?". Sometimes I remember, sometimes I dont.
I just looked it up and looked up credits for both. Both have the same composer, Ben Samama, so he probably used the same sound for both songs
