Yeah you don’t need the bobcat oil. They just overcharge and put their name on it. I just use redline gear oil, can’t remember the weight though. Also that little silver filter is the drain filter. It’s after the drive not before. If it gets clogged your drive motor will over pressurize and will actually blow the case apart on the motor. I also have a 2004 t190 with 1700 hours, been a great machine.
We plumbed in hydraulic high pressure ball vales on our case drain filters to make changing them less of a mess. We also disconnect the levers when the machine is in use in case any mud or debris tries to push the lever closed.
I know it sounds crazy but trust me it’s awesome... use peanut butter for penetrating oil. It is the best I have ever seen..... I have used Fluid Film, Pb blaster, deep creep.... everything available. Absolutely nothing is as good as peanut butter. Also make sure you have some bread handy for after you spread the peanut butter on your bolt and realize you just wasted your time it makes a great sandwich! PB blaster try that!

Try 3/4 ratchet. Have to heat where bolts thread into. Sometimes when it cools down it loosens up as well. With the sprocket its hard to get to where the heat is actually needed. Good luck! Sometimes breaking or cutting then extraction is the easiest.
Great video! It would be nice if the bobcat final drives have the full and drain on the outside of them. Wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of taking the track and everything off. Nicely done very informative! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video. For those struggling with the sprocket bolts you need to have a3/4 breaker bar and an 8' pipe. Works easy. I snapped my 1/2" breaker bar fyi. The filter i believe is a drain back filter. Cheers
I sacrificed a large socket and welded it directly to a piece of 1” thick by 2” wide flat stock two feet long then put a piece of 2-1/2” steel pipe about 5 foot long to do chin ups off of until they broke loose lol😂

Them filters are to catch debris from coming out of your final drive when they get plugged up they create too much pressure and damaging
Have you tried hitting the bolt heads with a hammer? A few good swings helps break the threads lose sometimes

kubota svls are pretty slick and easy because i had to replace my buddys tracks wich cost him $450.00 for 2 sets at the kubota dealer
Are you spraying cold water on the bolts after you heat them up?

put about a 6 ft pipe on the end of your breaker bar and stand on the outside of it I've seen several people have to do that to get them off
get a pipe about 8 feet long and slip it over that bar then try it
Get a torque multiplier if you haven’t got it off yet
