    Our Homeschool Mission Statement:
    Our family homeschool is dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that lays a strong foundation of Biblical truth. Our highest priority is the discipleship of both parents and children, fostering a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are committed to developing strong skillsets in reading, writing, and number sense, while encouraging child-led learning that nurtures each child’s unique interests and God-given gifts. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, adventure, and creativity, equipping our children to think critically and independently, and to live out their faith with confidence and joy.
    Outline of Goals
    Spiritual Growth and Discipleship
    1. Daily Devotions and Bible Study
    • Incorporate daily family devotions and individual Bible study times.
    • Memorize scripture passages together as a family.
    • Engage in discussions on Biblical truths and how they apply to everyday life.
    2. Character Development
    • Foster virtues such as kindness, honesty, humility, and perseverance through Biblical teachings.
    • Encourage acts of service within the family and community.
    3. Prayer and Worship
    • Establish regular times for family prayer and worship.
    • Teach children the importance and power of prayer.
    Academic Excellence
    1. Reading
    • Develop strong reading skills through phonics, literature, and comprehension activities.
    • Encourage a love of reading by providing a variety of books and materials that interest each child.
    2. Writing
    • Focus on handwriting, grammar, and creative writing exercises.
    • Encourage journaling and other forms of personal expression through writing.
    3. Number Sense
    • Build a solid foundation in mathematics through hands-on activities and real-life applications.
    • Foster problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
    Child-Led Education
    1. Interest-Based Learning
    • Allow children to explore subjects and activities that interest them.
    • Provide resources and opportunities for children to pursue their God-given talents and passions.
