This is really really nice.
Thanks for the comment. I just like to change things up a bit, see where it leads….
Congratulations! Excellent mods
Thank you very much!
very good hug from portugal!
Thanks
Great 🤟
Nice Video!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Bellissima complimenti
To see that gap reduced at the rear end is fantastic! Nice and low, really nice man! Did you make a custom bracket for the rear TRK shocks? Are there other options to lower the back end?
I made a custom bracket between the TRK top shock mount and the frame.
hi, I love your mods, Excellent. what your model on clips-on bars ? thinks
No model, generic 51mm clip on bars from eBay.
sick
Thank you
You didn't mention the handlebar. Where did you get it?
Generic no name 51mm clip on bars from eBay.
Hi Philip, the back indicators..can you share the link, please?Did you had to change de relay? I bought ones on aliexpress, but now they blink very fast. :(
I used the Benelli 502c front indicators on the rear so I did not have this problem.
You will need to change the relay to an adjustable one or use original Benelli front indicators on the rear.
@@philipjones172I changed my indicators from ali too.
I also bought adjustable relay, but I can't find out where is original relay.
Can I know where it is?
I love your bike😮
Hola, podrías pasarme link del final del escape, siendo "curvo" no lo encuentro, has modificado el escape con soldadura o cortado a mano?
Nice modifications, do you have a link to the mirrors?, I haven't been able to find them. Thanks
I purchased the mirrors a few years ago and it seems like they are not on sale any more.
Hi! The bike looks great like this!!
I’ve been wanting to lower mine as well, I’m wondering how many centimeters you have lowered the front forks.
Also for the rear, all you did was change the shock absorber for the 502trk? Or did you need a lowering link as well?
Hi, lowered the front by slipping the forks up the clamps by approximately 50mm. I used a TRK shock on the rear but needed to make my own top mount extender as the shock was much shorter.
@@philipjones172 Alright! Will be doing about the same lowering then. Thanks!
I had to make an bolt-on adapter to fit between the shock top and the frame as the TRK shock was a lot shorter.
You can only lower the front forks by about 50mm maximum by sliding them up the fork clamps.
where did you find the hooks to put the knobs on like that?
Proprio quello che cercavo
Very nice mods my friend! how s the position on ride? be honest whit me, i want to do the same

Have a look at this video. The riding position is different but it’s still good and handling is not affected.
Bro what clipons did you use
Generic no name clip on from eBay. Need to be 51mm though.
Still trying to work out the difference between smooth tank from AIiexpress and original one
It’s the original tank with the stickers taken off with metal Benelli badges from aliexpress.
@@philipjones172 Thank you Phillip. I'm very fascinated with your upgrade on the lowering. Is it possible to share a process for a shock modification.
1. Where did you buy the shock for 502TRK?
2. What is the size of your extension adapter?
3. How many mm dropped at the end?
Thank you in advance.
Can I know where is the signal relay?
hello I have a question on clip on bar are they plug and play or you made a modification?
No modification, just had to re-route the clutch cable a little bit and take off the handlebar mounts.
Does the straight handlebar disrupt the posture? Does it cause pain? Does it bother you? my height is 187cm
Posture is very different, but fine for me. Does not cause pain, does not bother me. I am 178cm.
Dude, what are the wheels? Looknwider than standard?
Metzeler me880 140/75-17 on front and Michelin scorcher 160/70-17 on rear.
@@philipjones172 Are they after market wheels? Im doing a build and Ill be honest drawing inspiration from your build. Im not looking to copy as Im gonna run alot of matt black and nickle plate but the stance on your bike is beyond amazing.
@@Primetome hi, no, they are the standard wheels with fatter tyres.
What Is the Total length of the rear shock? I like the height of the bike but the work on your shock Is not much clear..i want to buy a Universal shock but i Need the Total length
Rear shock is 390mm centre to centre (centre of bolt)
@@philipjones172 so rear shock of trk Is shorter than 390mm?
@@fabiogiordano7389
Yes, too short to use as it is. That is why I made a custom mount for to go between the top of the shock and the top shock mount on the frame.
Whats the lenth of the rear shock with your custom bracket so i can get one that is already to lenth so i can skip making a custom bracket ?
Hay just a question when you changed the cat back and muffler did you have to get a tune ?
No, no tune.
Thank you
Does the handlebar switches hit the tank on full turn?
No, bars do not hit the tank when turning.
When you changed the exhaust did you have to do a dyno test?
Nope
Why only 160 on rear? have you tried or thought about the 180 tire?
Yes. I had a Pirelli angel st 190 on the rear but I wanted a tyre with a higher profile.
@@philipjones172 what is the full profile of 190 on rear? doesn't it hit the fender/bar ?
Had a 180 Pirelli angel on the rear previously. Nothing wrong with it, I just wanted a different look.
link for handlebars please?🙏🏼
They are generic 51mm clip-on bars from eBay. Nothing special.

Yes it is.

The front fender is one of these but I had to make my own mount out of some abs plastic
hows the rust
I don’t take it out in the wet/salty/gritted roads if I can help it so there is no rust issue, which I am pleasantly surprised about. It’s also stored in my garage when not in use so it’s being looked after.
My friend can you send the link for the mirrors ? 🙏
I purchased them from eBay 2 years ago, but Ali express sell them also Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! £8.07 35% Off | 2Pcs Universal Motorcycle Mirror Chrome plated Black 22mm Handle Bar End Rearview Side Mirrors Motor Accessories

Hi, you are using 140/75-17.
Do you use original wheel/rims?
Yes, 140/75-17 on the front with original wheel.
Hi. So how was the handling after you change to bigger tyre wit original wheel on?
Awesome! How do you feel riding it with low handlebars?
The bike feels sportier and make you want to ride faster. Also there is less buffeting from the wind.
