As a person with an IT bachelor's this seems like a good path for me. Currently i am a clinical engineering tech. My only question is it possible to do a mix of pacs and cybersecurity?
You may wish to reach out to Jay and/or Ally with that question. It's my understanding that most who get into informatics from an IT background need to be educated on imaging modalities to be able to distinguish surface level information just by looking at the images (at the hospital/clinical level). As far as the cybersecurity aspect, I'm sure vendors of PACS systems would have a need on the development side of things.
this is excatly what I need for my PACS Mangment assigment!!!
I'm so glad it helped 🙂
Very informative video about PACS in general and how to become a PACS administrator. Thank you!
