@@theodorvalentinghita1779it's seen at 1:17 when the elite loses his shield and is hurt. Stun in video games specifically means "stops shooting or traveling". It's a mechanic that keeps you from dying if you will be a little aggressive.
I think the hitstun is needed for certain types of enemies, Jackals and grunts mainly. Sometimes you shoot an enemy in reach and it feels like you didn't hit them at all.
The reach zealot you used was a field Marshall you should’ve used a normal zealot but otherwise epic really interesting to see how much stronger the reach ai generally is
Considering that you are able to add animations or other tweaks to certain AI throughout the games in this engine, is there a chance you can start removing the agro animations for both humans and covenant(as that always seems to lead to them, especially Brutes/Elites, getting killed much more easily....
Like their agro state(faster shooting/hyper-agression) should remain, just remove the typically detrimental rage animation that goes with it. For the humans it really only is apperant in the earlier games but for the covenant its too consistent to the point where it often leads to covie AI's downfall.
I honestly hate the instant melee with the reach elites. They aren't even over powered their ai is just broken really and it really shows when the zealot stops to do his animation giving that instant melee time to just auto win , when obviously they would never win if that wasn't the case 🙄
The reach units feel so lifeless and robotic with no interesting combat animations and instant undodgeable melee. Bungie really screwed that up in my opinion.
I mean technically speaking the covenants that invaded reach were the strongest they've ever been. Ruthless and efficient killing machines with an unstoppable ground army. So undoubtedly they do feel lifeless compared to other games.

Technically that’s not fair. It should’ve been a CE Jackal and Reach Jackal.
Skirmishers can’t melee in the actual game.
The jackal had a shield and decided to do a stupid flee animation for no reason

It seems like the reach covenant were more lethal on average, which is even more of a testament to noble team considering that they aren’t spartan 2s
