i believe retail on the OEM struts is 162 a piece and I got them new on ebay for i think 120 a piece. if you take them to a dealer to get the springs switched over its going to cost probably a hr labor of 60-75$ be sure to watch my install on the bike video! Thanks for watching
How did you know it was time to replace the shock. I have a knocking noise when I hit a big bump and was wondering if something in the assembly went bad or the whole shock went.im running bigger tires at the moment and one side bottoms out while the other doesn't. Thanks
+Jojo its gonna need to be replaced. It is not rebuildable. You have to order the whole assembly and change out the spring. I have changed mine twice and it was from using an old heavy steel snow plow from a john deere tractor. If it makes the loud clunking sound when the shock is at its longest length of travel then it needs to be replaced.
My ATV's shock absorber has a ball joint space at the top which makes continuous sound. I just want to get the ball joint on it. I can't find the part number. just want to get this track. (top ball joint)I don't want to get complete like you .thank you
I don't know if they are replaceable. There is no OEM part from Can-Am. You have to get the whole shock assembly. I think they are around $170 a piece now.
