Not sure what you mean. This is the most silent mod for the th8a there is and I tried 4 of them. This is also the most natural feeling and maintenance free. The ones with ball bearings you have to often adjust

rubber vesions are practically unbreakable and cost less ;-)

it's rubber, it's very practical to use, soft to the touch and almost wear-free

yes you must be precise when you open the cover

The switch is only needed to tell the shifter when it is being used in sequential mode

Had the same issue but you can easily solder it back on.
